The rules should confuse young'uns, given character levels and percentages...

Still a good system though, and I happily own two copies, the joys of being older! Good of the (as usual) US site to give out something good. Might devalue ebay prices though!

And that's a bad thing? The goal is to actually *use* the rules, not collect them, right? wink.gif

The whole collectible fad led to the collapse of the comic book market. So many college tuitions and potential funds for other things went up in smoke. I'm assuming this doesn't have the errata and expansions from the various WDs, along with the official articles in the Citadel Journals. For those interested here's a list of the articles:

White Dwarf:
#130) Introduction to WFB's campaign system
#131) Mighty Empires: Wizard's Towers for ME
#132) Wilderness Locations: Necropolises for ME
#133) Mighty Empires: Pirate Ships & Bridges ME
#135) Agents Etc: Spying & battle results for ME
#155) Mighty Empires: rules for Wilderness locs, Mines etc.
#163) Warhammer Campaigns: using ME to link WFB battles
#163) Mighty Empires and the New Warhammer

Citadel Journal:
#3) Forgotten Lands: new tiles and rules for their use for ME
#3) Love Thy Neighbour: new race rules for ME
#3) We Bring Greetings, Sire: rules expansion for diplomacy in ME
#4) Blimey! Who Put That There? expanded Wilderness locations for ME
#5) Great Walls and Frontier Fortifications: rules expansion for the frontier

Does anyone know what the differences are between the downloadable version and the newest version? I've played warhammer since 4th edition so I would assume I could adapt the old mighty empire rules. Is the old version still usable with the current version of warhammer? It sounds like a fun system but I don't really need all the plastic terain parts included in the current set.

The old rules are for the 3rd edition but are highly and easily changable to the current modern day warhammer. Infact, there is hardly anything to change.

Current version of mighty empires is only 5 pages big and contains next to nothing, espically for fighting battles on paper, the old one is far better for that.

There is no really need for the new one.

Yes, I know it is threadnomancy, but there is literally nothing else out there so I think it is justified.

Does anyone have copies of the additional rules released in White Dwarf / Citadel Journals?

Good news novermberrain...and bad news...I have every issue of WD from 85 to 154. After thks point I appear to have bought them intermittently. I've got 6 of the 7 articles you are after including by chance 163. PM about how you want me to get the info to you.
