K, I'm reading and talking to different people trying to figure this game/army out. Not trying to break anything, just want to know how to plan and work these things out. There are general rules questions, but since they affect my army, I want to know.

1) Do Dwarfs have access to the Mundane Magic items in the BRB?
I'm thinking 'No', but one guy mentioned that those items aren't in any Army book, so they might. Since only Runes are avail in the unit selection, I'm gonna go with 'No'. Just want to be sure.

2) How does the Anvil of Doom work? Is it a WM or a unit? The FAQ has got me scratching my head.

3) I've not seen anyone do it, but can a Runelord take Runes and the Anvil?
EDIT: Answered after reading TBO's 'in your face' list.

4) Runes: I really only see 3 Runes on most characters. Am I limited to 3 per Char, or 3 per item? Points aside, is it possible to get 4+ runes on one Char as long as max 3 on an item? (ie. 3 Weapon rune, 1 Armor rune, etc...) A 'no brainer' but the Rule of Pride still kicks in regardless of the other items runes? (ie. I can't have the same Armor rune combo, even if the weapon runes are different?)

5a) Dwarfs auto pass Ld test to March even if close to enemy. Do we need to test to reform? EDIT: Does Reform even need a test to begin with?

5b) Musicians allow reform by passing Ld test. If they fail, unit performs a normal reform. Does this mean I have to test again to reform within X" of enemy, or is reforming not prevented by being close to enemy?

6) I've seen a few notes on Organ Guns having 360 LoS. Never used em till now, just not seeing how this is true?

7) Anvil of Doom: Rune of Wrath n Ruin: If the unit chooses to flee as a reaction, do they use the modified M value as well?

8a) Anvil of Doom: Rune of Oath and Honor: If I nominate to charge a unit, does the enemy get to perform a Stand and Shoot reaction?
(I was planning to use the Anvil to get any failed charges into combat, but if they get a 2nd Stand and Shoot then that may not be wise.)

8b) Can a Character attached to a unit Move/Charge out of a unit if they are the target of O+H? Does the unit still get to move if the Character bails as a result?

8c) Can I use a Mus. Free reform as part of this movement? Do I need to test to do so (if 5a is true?)

The next few questions are all in relation to Characters/Champions and Combat.

9) Models in base contact can direct their attacks against Characters. What about the supporting attacks? Do they hit the Rank n File models, or can they direct against the Chars also?

10) In a unit where the front rank is all Unit Champs (Slayers), can my opponent choose to still hit Rank n File troops, or does he HAVE to hit the unit Champs? Just wondering what would happen if I took a full unit of Unit Champs.

11) Another no brainer but just checking. Excess wounds that hit Rank n File troops carry over to the unit champs (but not characters)?
Was playing around with an entire unit of Champs, which would be bad?

12a) What happens if I take more Unit champs than I have room in a rank for?

(T=Troll Slayer, G=Giant Slayer, M=Mus., S=SB.)
In these examples, say I have 2 more GS to place

TTTTT
TTTTT
TTTTT <- Do they Go here?
GSGMG <- Am I forced to make a wider front to keep them in Front?

12b) If they go in R2, Where are they positioned?

TTTTT
TTTTT
????? <- Do I place them as close to middle as possible? Or do I get to pick who I place them behind?
GSGMG

If they go as close to middle one will end up behind SB/Mus. Do they get priority to 'move up' when one of the other GS get's killed? Do they have to wait till after combat for reform/redress the ranks to move into contact with the enemy?

13a) If a Dragonslayer joins the unit, would he bump a GS to Rank 2, or does the Dragonslayer move to Rank 2?

TTTTT
TTTTT
?TTTT
?SGMG

13b) If the DS goes into rank 2, and I want to move him out where would I measure from? (This is purely based off 13A and might be a moot ??)

Crompton was helpin me out with this on my 3k List thread, but hasn't been resolved, so still curious. (Note: not callin Crompton out, just clearin up confusion)

Not exactly right. Say your Slayers rank up as 5x4, this means 10 models can attack. If your opponent has I3, then your 3 GS and their models all attack at the same time and then 7 of your TS can attack. If they kill 1 or all of your GS it does not affect this round of combat as they have already attacked, so it is still just 7 TS that can attack. However if you are facing people with I4+ who targetted your GS then yes you would get more TS stepping up and attacking until you had 10 models worth of attacks.

I seem confused by this, but let me see if I got it right. Im basing this from reading the Rulebook on 2 things.
1) Models strike when their initiative step comes around.
2) When casualties are removed, the models fill in the gap immediately. (Which is the real reason we take from the rear)
*I also vaguely remember a statement in there about how if a unit it big enough it will not lose it's attacks.

Now on to why Im confused. You stated that if I4+ killed my GS, then TS would step up and make 10 models worth of attacks. Not arguing this, as it lines up with what I said. If I3 models kill my GS, my GS would get to swing simultaneously. By the same logic as above, any GS that died at the I3 step, would be replaced by a TS. This happens before I2 step correct? So why don't the filler Slayers get to swing when the I2 step occurs? What's different from the I4 and I3?

It's quite a bit, but Im truly curious/confused by most of this. As I shape my army lists, these are the questions that come up. Thanks in advance to all who read it all.
