Ok well this was the first tine i used Dwarves in 8th and the 3rd time i'd played against my particular oponent.
Each time he'd butchered me decisivly, first my high elves then my Beasts of chaos.
I thought No more!

I freely admit, i pinched Mr Furgils list and just tweaked it upto 3000 points, but heres my story of Wrath and Ruin!

Organ Gun

Deamons:
8X seekers of Slaanesh
20X Bloodletters led by a Herald
37x Pink horrors + banner of +1 to cast (so its a L4 spell caster with +1 to cast!)
2X Fiends of slaanesh

Tomb kings:
40X Skeleton warriors led by a Tomb prince and Liche priest
10X Skeleton Bowmen
9X Skeleton horsemen
4X Utshabi with there big bows
Screaming skull catapult
Tomb scorpion
Necrospinx
3X Sepulchral stalkers (or Dwarves bane as i call them)

So dawn attack rolled up like this:
My link

He placed down first and myself second which gave him the first turn:

He moved pratically everything forward (as expected)

Magic from his L4+, and 2x L2's was completly shut down by Furgils impecable runelord build, much to his annoyance!

Shooting resulted in his utshabis and archers only taking out 2 regular dwarves, thanks to the M. rune of Grungi

...My turn now

I let rip with a hail of death
Organ gun and bolt throwe reduce the seekers on the left from 8 to 2!
Both cannons targeted his Necospinx and turned it instantly into rubble!
Grudge thrower missed the bloodletters completly.....
Longbeards reform to take any crud thrown there way

His Turn 2:

His scorpion and Sepulchral stalkers both popped up and he charges the organ gun with his dam seekers
Magic is once again completly neutralised with the help of a rune of spellbreaking

Shooting, his archers and Ushabi kill off one cannon crew, his Sepulchral stalkers gaze the other cannon to Grungi's halls but suffer 2 wounds for there troubles from a misscast

In combat the seekers fail to wound the organ gun crew and vica versa, the stubborn crew refuse to go anywhere!

My turn 2:

Bum round for me
Stone thrower missfires and goes out for 2 turns
Bolt thrower misses.
I decide to bide my time, keep my units in sight of the M rune of Grungi and wait for the enclosing assult
His Seekers kill 1 crew member on the organ gun but it still stands firm!

His turn 3:

Tomb scorpion chages bolt thrower
Bloodletters angle up for the duel charge on my hammerers
Warriors, archers, pink horrors and ushabi all trundle forward, his horrors now within 18" for there nastier spells
Fiends of slaanesh angle up for the old bait and switch against the long beards

Again spells fly and they get dashed again with the last rune of spellbreaking

The Ushabi and stalkers open up on the long beards and reduce there numbers by 10! They hold firm...

Seekers kill another organ gun crew but the remain cremember dashes one of there number back!
The Tomb scorpion fails to do anything as do the bolthrower crew

My turn 3:

Hmmm, the Ushabi are only 12" away from my warriors, huge mistake! I go for it, and lo and behold, make it!
The longbeards have had enough of being stared to death and charge the fiends of slaanesh

Stonethrowers out of action still this turn

The fiends kill 2 longbeards but the fiesty old buggers slaughter the deamons and after a little thinking, i reform to face the main battle
(i could of chased the stalkers to the edge of the board but there cheep and longbeards and expensive, so Deicided to take there punninshemt and move towards the battle)
The Ushabi have the initiative and kill 4 dwarves between them, the sturdy warriros slaughter them straight out and, eager for more, overun into the pink horrors! Exxxcelent!

On the bad side, the last remaing organ gun crew member once again fights the seeker to a standstill but the tomb scorpion snips off do bolt throwers crews heads. Both still hold! Plucky beggers!

His turn 4:

The skeleton horsemen and bloodletters charge hard into the hammerers
The stalkers sneek along to keep in range of the Longbeards

Now in combat i stop the only spell the big unit can play and allow off the only spell he successfully casts the whole game and allow his skeleton horde killing blow

Screaming skull catapult missfires and is out for 2 turns

Another blow for him, 2 of his stalkers die from 2 missfires! nasty, i loose another 3 longbeards though

The plucky remaining organ gun crew finaly bites it at the end of a long tongue, and the tomb scorpion devouers the last bolt thrower crew...poor beggers....
Soon after combat begins my oponent realises his second huge mistake, skeletons and there horses are WS2 vs a WS5 enemy. His mounted undead calvery fail to do a single wound. The bloodletter plough into the hammerers and kill 5, i challange the herrald with my BSB who actually manages to wound the Khorne herrald in a dazzeling display of axemenship.
Then the hammerers pour in, slaughtering 5 skeletons and 5 bloodletters, winning combat by a mile! The remining skeletons crumble into dust and the bloodletters loose another 5 to instability.

Now for the pink horrors, they fight valliently killing 3 dwarves. But even with there 4+ bloody ward, still suffer 8 wounds, and loose another 4 to instability

My turn 4:

The slayers look at the remaining seeker and tomb scorpion and scoff! Bah! Barley a challenge worthy of a doom! SO they stomp off after the skeleton horde.

I sling a stone at the Stalker and once again! Miss!

The Bloodletter attack and kill another 3 Hammerers, but Grungi's finest are peeved now and buther there way through the entire unit with wounds to spare to finish off the herald!

Again against the pink horros, they take out 3 but the plucky great weapons munch there way, with a little help from instability, through another 11 horrors!

His turn 5:

His tomb scorpion and laster Seeker slammed into the side of my ironbreakers

His archers line up to get charged

Magic is a massive failure again!

The stalker kills 4 more longbeards

Tomb scorpion and seeker kill 2 hammerers, the boys do 2 wounds to the scorpion, loose combat but hold firm!
The pink horrors and dwarf warriors battle on, the 4+ ward ends up not holding out and finaly, after 4 rounds of combat, the deamon unit vanishes!

My turn 5:

Slayers move within charge rance of the skeleton horde

Longbeards charge the archers, loose none to bowfire and proceed to butcher the unit

Stonethrower finally does something, with a direct hit to the last stalker, squashing the dam serpent into paste.

With his last pathetic unit surrounded, we call it there. We dont even bother adding up victory points as he has pratically nothing left and i have only lost 4 war machines.

An absolute massacare to the Dwarven horde!

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Unless Bloodletters are in a larger formation, hammerers will win out anyday of the week
Sepulchral stalkers, or 'Dwarves bane' as i call them, are sooo deadly against us its not even funny. If my oponent wouldnt of rolled so many missfires on them, they could of single handedly won him the game given enough time.
Necrospinx's dont like Cannons (hehe)
Real shame the Slayers never get into combat, there the only models in the army that i'm happy when they die. Plus for such a small unit they packed a good punch!

Still not sold on Stone throwers, first time i've used once since 6th edition, and well, it spent most the game missing or repairing itself. I expected more fot 170pts. The SSC didnt hit a dam thing all game either

Once again i'd like to thank Furgil for helping me get my first victory over an anoyingly good oponent
