i mostly fear of melee lord WoC and DE.
wish me luck and w8 my reports :drinks:

i'll start from the second game vs DE.
it was really fast and i was really lucky.
his deployment:
on his right table edge he sets his knights and next to them the first hydra.
some intches away was the second hydra and the chariots.
on left edge was the warriors with supreme in them, with the flank protected by the crossbowmen units.next to them were the flying characters plus harpies.

he gets first turn and gets an irrisistable pit of shades on my hammerers that luckily scattered 6" and hit none.
he rolled 3 on misscast table and died in a roll of 3.he took 12 warriors with him...
he caused a few wounds with crossbows but nothing important.
his army had marched and in my first turn i shot my cannon at hydra next to cold ones.one shot hydra dead+rerolled failed panic for cold ones, that gets out of the table...
my organ guns killed the second hydra since my cannon failed to wound.and my gt paniced the warriors.
1594pts for me in round 1.
he told me to "I swear too much" and we stopped to get a beer.
the end. 😃

in game one vs i made some mistakes as not reform steadfast my warriors and get pawned by the 2 spear units, not deploying my organ guns together and failed to defend against or wipe out dragon princes.plus some lesser mistakes.
anyway i had a massacre victory.the only left alive was the dragon princes unit and i just lost my warriors and 2 organ guns.
i had a great and accurate gt and rangers did their part.3 hammerers left alive after tanking white lions,so they kept their points.
i'll post the report tommorow with pics, after the games with the 2 WoC and you'll see my mistakes and game.

meanwhile:
DE massacred sorcerer WoC
lord WoC annihillated sorcerer WoC and HE.

HE left to right: dragon princes, dragon is eagle, eagle, spears, spears, eagle,wl with archmage and bsb, swordmasters.
Dwarfs: og in building, warriors+runesmith,og(i should have place this left of the building),hammerers+lord+bsb, cannon, cannon,gt,quarreller rangers

i go first and my gt has an accurate hit on sm and kills 14.my quarrellers kill one more and they fail their rerollable panic.small cannon kills an eagle,og missfire the other, but rolls 6 and big cannon miss the eagle too...
HE march and sm rally.his archmage cast lore's of life regrowth on sm,but i use my dispel scroll so i will wipe the out next turn.he casts flesh to stone on sm and i dispel it with roll.anyway, thats all about magic phase in all rounds,i shut down everything and he had failled attempts too.
on my second round my big cannon kills another eagle and the small but organ kills the last one.gt missfires but rolls 5 and my useless og between warriors and hammerers had nothing better to do and killed 5 spearmen.my hammerers and warriors march and mu quarrellers shoot and kill 2 more sm.

on HE second round i challenge wl so they won't massacre my rangers and i pay the mistake of not steadfast my warriors.i broke and get caught and overrun to og by one unit.the other reform to charge hammerers.
on my 3rd turn i charge sm with my rangers and wipe them out.my gt kills 16 spears from the unit that reformed earlier and my og 7 more.the useless og is dead ofc and wl unit kills 10 while i kill 11.

on HE turn 3,dragon princes succesfully ofc assault the building and spears rare charge hammerers.his other spear unit failed to flank.i killed all lions, just the characters left now so i reformed to look spearmen.

so come the fourth round gt kills the four spearmen left on the unit and my rangers rare bsb and archamage and kill bsb.spears luckily kiled none while my unit killed 9.poor wizard had nowhere to run,i catch the spears on their try to escape.
round ended and he told m he whould hide his dragon princes somewhere i had no time to get so we stopped.
it was a really bad game of mine.my deployment was not good,my decisiions neither.
HE's bad magic phases and lore choice maybe(i told him before we start to change to death),one failed charge and one awful roll on CC helped me win.

my two next reports will be without photos.i just got one pic on my deployment in game one versus sorcerer lord's WoC and run out of battery.in my last game versus melee lord WoC was almost same deployment.
#WoC-sorcerer lord

this was a really good deployment, with my rangers being protected by the impassable rocks.my problems where others.
i deployed:og,og,cannon,hammerers+lord+bsb 7 wide,cannon,warriors+runesmith 7 wide,gt,rangers 7 wide.
he deployed:his bsb and warriors opposite of my hammerers and warriors.warhounds opposite of my organ guns and cannon, hellcannon chariots and melee flyer on their left in the order i write.sorcerer was behind the rocks.
he gets first turn and makes an march towards my army.his hellcannon made an accurate hit on my hammerers and killed 7.he moved his sorcerer in 24" from my hammerers(he knew about challenge) and cast treason of tzeentch,so all models in unit make an attack against their own unit.i dispelled with scroll and he failed cast infernal gateway.
in my turn,i killed 2 chariots with one cannon and hellcannon with the other.organ guns killed 2 units of hounds and made the third flee and never return.my gt missed the warriors. and my quarrellers killed none also.
in round two.he charged with chariot the one organ gun and with flyer the other.both died and he reformed.he moved both warriors unit till the rocks edge caused he got scared of my formation and possible flanking.but.....
it was irresistable time and on infernal gateway...his target?hammerers.his strength?11...so i whisked to the realms of chaos...he rolled 7,so his wizard was safe and without base contact.
i got paniced, but my units didnt.my rangers reformed 5 wide,my warrior went closer to them as i was pretty sure he whould go for warmachines with chariot and heroe and i decided to shoot his lovely lord.my cannons failed to wound him but my grudge lobber landed a stone right between his eyes.
in round 3 his warriors charged my rangers and warriors, while his lord and chariot charged my cannons.cannons fallen, but my warriors and rangers still stand.warriors succeded a draw despite mark of nurgle-bsb-charge and rangers stayed steadfast.
on my turn,i was about to shoot heroe and not chariot, but i didn't.chariot died.my rangers run low on bodies, just 7 left but didnt break.my warriors won the battle this time, but he stayed where he was.
on his fourth round he made the mistake of supporting his warriors vs rangers that whould die anyway and not charge my gt.my warriors wipe out every warrior but bsb didn't leave his ground.
on my turn,i shot on the warriors, but missed by 2"and hit the hero that failed his ward save and went to meet the dark gods.my warriors caused a wound to bsb and killed him.i reformed to look on the only thing on the table, his warriors.
on the fifth round his warriors charged gt.i was really sad that it died.they reformed to look at my warriors.
i didn't knew if i wanted to charge them.they were 12,we were 15(14+runesmith). reformed in 3 ranks of 5.he was 6 wide.
he charged me in round 6.my runesmith challenged and tank his champion, while he killed 5 models.i killed 3,but stayed cause of the rank 😛 ....
in my turn and after close combat the only thing alive was runesmith with one wound and 2 warriors.he had 6.i succed my break test and it was a nice draw...

#WoC-melee lord
in my last game my deployment was like the previous with sorcerer lord with the difference that i had a building in my left flank so i placed an og inside and the other left of the building.hammerers+lord+bsb on the right of the building, warriors+runelord next to the with two cannons behind them,gt on the corner and rangers behind the rocks..so an L formation again 😃 .
he deployed marauders horde on the side of the rock and next to them the two warrior units with bsb and a hellcannon on each flank of the warriors.in front of the warriors was the hellhounds.in about mid of his deployment zone and a bit to the right(his right) were the chariots and the lord.
i go first and kill one hellcannon with my cannons.gt missfires but rolls 6.
in his turn he marches forward with all his troops.his hellcannon lost it's leadership and run forward too so didn't fire.
on round 2,i kill the second hellcannon and missfire with gt again.i roll 4.
one og takes down one unit of warhounds, the other caused one wound to his lord.
he charges my rangers with the second warhound unit, but i stand and shoot them and he makes a move so i can't flank with my rangers.his lord fail charges my og in the building but one chariot kills the other og.the second chariot moved next to the lord.
on third round i kill the chariot next to his lord with my cannons and my og causes a second wound to his lord.my gt missfires again and this time breaks.
i use rune of challenge on his lord and he comes to my hammerers with just one wound cause he can't deny and when he challenges my lord bring him down.his other chariot charges and breaks og in the building.marauders charged and chopped my rangers.at least they overun of the table and it was good for now.warriors moved toward my hammerers and warriors.
on round 4 i charged bsb warriors with my hammerers and the others with my warriors.i don't know if it was a clever move, but marauders were coming back and i was in a crappy situation anyway.my artillery made many thing but did not weaken his melee units at all.my hammerers win the combat and kill warriors of chaos where they are.i reform towards my warriors, who lost the battle, but hold their ground with bsb's help.
his marauders comes in table again and his warriors breaks mine.he was almost unharmed and he reformed in a way his horde had a line to charge as his chariot my rear..
round 5 and i charge his warriors.my cannons shoot on marauders flank, kill about 15 and no more horde..battle is draw and my unit is heavily wounded.we discussed about lordpedo, but i whould never do this...
he charged with chariot plus marauders and....no more hammerers.at least i hold my ground and killed chariot.
round six came and i both my characters tanked his attacks, with one wound each..
i win the battle cause of generals and bsb points..
the end

so,lets see how list worked...
lord+challenge is good for tanking nasty characters and nothing more.i know that runelord is a great general, but i want to intercept magic phase, not ruin my friends magic lists.they keep on whining for dwarfs artillery and anti-magic anyway..
no needs to say about bsb...i have challenge on him cause i want MRspite on general.
rangers....rangers,yes..quarreller rangers,no.if i had a runelord general i whould use warriors, but on this list and the points available i prefered 25 quarrellers that can also shoot, over 32 warriors that cannot.generally, they are overpriced and cause low wounds with ranged attacks.
warriors wasn't great,but wasn't bad either.they were good.
hammerers chopped and did all the dirty work...they tanked and protected the rest army with challenge.i always love to have a challenge character on them and pin and flank enemy.
gt and cannons won me most battles..nasty stuff off early, weakening units etc... i though many times to get 2 gt's instead of two cannons, but gt fails more often than cannon.when you have two gt in order to be effective needs a master engineer.2 gt+M.engie is the same points cost with 2 cannons+1gt.3 > 2 plus cannon hits both rider and mount with str10...
og is always first target.when they are two,one next to other, makes the opponent think about going to them cause he know he will suffer heavy casualties... i like them together on my flanks..game with HE was really crappy.
