Heres what I packed:

Lord, Shieldbearers, shield, Armor with Steel, Preservation, Resistance, Weapon with Might, Speed, 293
Runelord, 2x Spelleaters, challenge, shield, Preservation, stone, 288
BSB, Master Rune of Gromril, Preservation, Resistance 155
Master Engineer, Stone, Great Weapon, 79
Cannon, forging, 125
Grudge Thrower, Acc, Penx2 155
Cannon, forging, burning 130
Organx2 240
20 Xbows, FC, shields, GW 305
20 Xbows, FC, shields, GW, rangers 325
32 Hammerers, sb, m, 402
2497

Pretty simple. Format was 2 scenarios and 1 pitched battle.

Game 1: Old VC, Battle of the Pass.

37 Grave Guard, FC, hw/s, hatred banner
37 Grave Guard, FC, great weapons, +1 to hit banner
40 Ghouls
40 Ghouls
Vamp Lord, a bunch of stuff
Isabelle hero
manfred hero

Not the greatest vc list, but with the 4 blocks and no support winning any VP at all would have been difficult.

Battle of the pass gave me some extra turns to shoot, even though I went 2nd. On the 4th cannonball his lord fails los and his 4+ ward save and I dropped him. Focused shooting on the GW grave guard + crumbles brought them down to 3 before hammerers ran them over and into ghouls (at this stage 20 left). The other GG charge to help out (20 at that stage). Hammerers beat both and then flanked the last unit of ghouls and finished them off turn6. I scored 2600 VP, lost 0 VP but still consider myself lucky to kill the vamp which was instrumental for weakening his troops as much as I did.

Game 2: Warriors of Chaos. Dawn Attack.

30 Tzeentch warriors, rage banner, halberds shields
bsb foot
lvl2 foot
lvl4 disc
2 shrines
35 ish maurader tzeentch, hw/shields
10 khorne knights
2x5 maurader cav

Every flippin tournament I play WoC and they always f me up with their point denial. The scenario didnt help. All my units went close to the 18 inch march between the left and central zones, except my hammerers and characters which had to drop on the right of my line. And then he seized the initative by rolling a 6.

He rolled 3+ ward for the warriors.

He barrelled forward with the knights who just needed 1 to get through to machines. But in my shooting phase direct hits from the stone thrower and 10/8 from the organ guns dropped all 10 knights. The xbows also killed 5 maurader cav.

The rest of the game was me shooting the maurader cav and mauraders to death. I couldn't kill his mages/shrnes/bsb/warrior block (even with 4 miscasts). I lost a machine to a magic missile and had a unit of xbows panic off the board (bsb still far away unable to get into position). Lost another organ gun as damage control the last turn.

Only got a 11-9 win as a result, silly silly woC.

Game 3 Pitched Battle vs High Elves:

Lvl4, etheral, silver wand, life.
bsb 2+ save
lvl 1 sigil of asuryan (spell eater)
2x27 white lions
5 dp
2 eagles
25 spears
20 spears
10 archers

I castled:

hammerers on side edge, st/engineer behind, cannon, cannon, xbows, organ organ, xbows.

He had 5dp and 1 unit of lions directly opposite my hammerers, the other lions opposite my organs/xbows. Some archers on a hill between them, as well as 2 eagles, and the spears in the middle of the board going toward my battle line flank.

I focused on the central lions first, took an eagle charge on a cannon that my ME and bsb were setup to kill. DP tried to bait my hammerers into charging and going towards his nearly full strength lions. Instead I took lord out of unit and blocked his dp from moving (if i didnt charge them they'd have charged my machines, if i shot them I wouldn't shoot lions, and If I charged them they'd flee and lions would hit me. Not only did I have 25 ish lions in the left unit but the central unit had 15 left and were also in charge range that turn. The lord block stopped his left lions from getting into cc, giving me a change to wipe out the middle lions (which I did). The dp charged the lord, who held, and then I flanked the dp with my hammerers while shooting the left lions. By the time the smoke cleared both his lion units and dp were dead.

Both my spelleaters failed to destroy dwellers, and also the lvl4 passed 4 cannon ball hits (2 ironcurse, 2 1s to wound). On bottom of t6 he got of dwellers on my solo lord and I failed it. I also lost a cannon from the 10 archers he had, which panicked off a unit of xbows (ld10 reroll). I lost my ranger xbows to his 2 spear units. I charged one, didn't break it, and got flanked by the other. In the end I only got a 12-8 win although that business with the lvl4 and lord robbed me of a bunch of points which would have but me 2nd or 1st.

In the end I came in 3rd out of 20 people. Another good finish but still that 1st tourney win is eluding me. DoC 1st and lizards 2nd for the record.

Quick report of the list.

I liked the reinclusion of the st5 grudge, it did alot of damage. I don't think the st4 one is worth it over the 2nd cannon. Cannons are just too important. I used the xbows better this time, but not liking the GW on them. If they get in combat with anything decent they're dead because of lack of combat res. I'd like to reshuffle my core.

Lord is ace as are organ guns. Master engineer did a good job in games 2 and 3 of protecting my machines. He took a charge from a warshine and stayed alive for 2 rounds of combat until the end of game. Hammerers are nice but not to be relied upon, great for cleaning up.

Spelleaters >master rune of balance. getting rid of gateway or invocation is just winning. Unlucky not to get rid of the dwellers, its the first time its happened to me and then came back to hurt me. MRobalance wouldn't have helped me anyways.

thats all, thanks for reading. I can include some pictures of particular things if anyone asks.
