2248pts

Originally I made a 2000pt list but the dragon players thought I would get stomped so told me to take some more points.
All I had on me were a unit of miners so I just added them in at the last min.

Deployment and Dwarf turn 1:
The Attackers should have had first turn really but the dragon players insisted I went first.
My cannon took a shot at the great black dragon and did a wound, the organ gun was out of range.

Dragon turn 1:
Dragons advance!
The emperor dragon fails to get off any spells.

Dwarf turn 2:
My reserves show up and all advance 3".
The cannon shoots at the great black dragon again and takes it down to 1 wound 🙂
The organ gun gets 8 hits on the green dragon and manages to do 2 wounds.

Dragon turn 2:
Both the red dragons breath fire on the miners, they slaughter over half the unit, causing them to panic and flee off the board.
The black and green dragon breath on the hammerers in the gate house but only kill one hammerer in total!
The great black dragon charges the left tower and despite causing considerable casualties to the warriors, they manage to get the final wound in and kill it.
The emperor dragon charges the right tower and kills a large number of dwarves, it also manages a lightning storm with irresistible force, killing yet more dwarves. The emperor dragon loses one wizard level and forgets lightning storm (chain lightning?) as a result of the miscast. The dwarves are stubborn in the tower though so hold and the emperor shuffles back an inch.

Dwarf turn 3:
The slayers charge into a red dragon, taking off half its wounds and loosing 5 of their number.
The cannon fires at the other red dragon and misses.
The organ gun manages another couple of wounds on the green dragon.

Dragon turn 3:
One of the red dragons charges the left hand tower and slays a fair number of dwarves, the dwarves hold due to stubborn and the red dragon is pushed away an inch.
The emperor charges back into the right tower but is forced back by stubborn dwarves yet again, it also fails to cast any spells.
The green and black dragon charge into the gatehouse, the black dragon attacks my dwarf lord and the green dragon attempts to breach the wall. Neither are successful in doing any damage whilst my lord and hammerers cause two wounds to the black dragon. Both dragons are pushed back an inch.
The slayers loose another 5 of their number but finish off the red dragon they were in combat with.

Dwarf turn 4:
The dragon slayers charge into the second red dragon and take it down to a couple of wounds whilst loosing another 5 of their number.
The organ gun misfires but the cannon more than makes up for it.
The cannon shoots the black dragon and causes 4 wounds to kill it, the cannon ball carries on into the green dragon taking off its final 2 wounds and then bounces in the emperor dragon and causes a whopping 5 wounds!!!

Dragon turn 4:
Enraged at the dwarven cannon, the emperor dragon charges into the left tower, breaching it and destroying almost all of the warriors.
The warriors fail their break test (needing insane courage). The cannon crew are always stubborn however and the emperor dragon is forced away from the tower yet again.
The emperor fails to cast any spells.
The red dragon is killed in its fight with the slayers leaving only 4 of them alive.

Dwarf turn 5:
Yet more amazing luck for the dwarven engineers, they shoot the emperor dragon, standing just yards away from them and remove its final 4 wounds.

The dragons have been seen off, VICTORY FOR THE DAWI

Man of the match can't be anyone else but the cannon and its crew
