Hey all,

Been working on a 2500 point army list for a tourny I have coming up.

My army list is as follows;

Rune Lord (290 points)
Ro Cleaving (+1 STR)
Ro Fire (flaming attacks)
MRo Gromril (1+ AS)
Ro Resistance (re-roll AS)
MRo Balance (steel one power dice)
Ro Spellbreaking (spell scroll)

I decided that the AOD would be to many points to risk in a tourny, so I tooled up the RL and readied him for combat.

Thane - BSB (167 points)
Shield (not sure if this is allowed on a BSB but army builder doesn't seem to mind :unknw: )
Ro Resistance (re-roll AS)
Ro Stone (+1 AS)
MRo Spite (4+ WS)

My plan with the defensive RL & BSB is to sit them in a unit of 38 GW warriors, 5 wide, and get them to absorb as many attacks as they can in order to reduce the amount of combat res my opponent gets.

Dwarf Warriors x 38 (390 points)
Standard Bearer
Great Weapons

Dwarf Warriors x 40 (410 points)
Standard Bearer
Great Weapons

Dwarf Warriors x 10 (110 points)
Rangers
Great Weapons

Rangers can tie up certain threats which give my artillery more time to focus on more important threats. They also make my opponent think hard about deployment.

Hammerers x 40 (548 points)
Musician
Standard Bearer
Runic Standard - MRo Grungni (5+ ward vs shooting & magic missiles to units within 6 inches)

Hammerers will bring the hurt... and MRo Grungni will help keep men alive as well as my artillery.

Cannon (145 points)
Engineer
Ro Burning (flaming attacks)
Ro Forging (re-roll misfires)

Grudge Thrower (170 points)
Engineer
Ro Accuracy (re-roll the scatter dice)
2x Ro Penetrating (+2 STR)

Grudge Thrower (150 points)
Engineer
Ro Accuracy (re-roll the scatter dice)
Ro Burning (flaming attacks)
Ro Penetrating (+1 STR)

Cannons & GTs are given engineers for the extra wound and for the chance to re-roll the misfire chart. I'm hoping these bad boys can weaken my opponent before we get into combat.

Organ Gun (120 points)

Organ gun will take care of any fast moving units.

My overall plan is to wedge myself between a structure and the edge of the table if possible, or depending on who I am versing. I will deploy in deep formation and minimise my frontage.

Hopefully my artillery can greatly weaken incoming enemies so once we engage in combat my boys can make light work of them.

Any tips or advice is much welcome guys and gals.

Also, does anyone have any idea on how this list would go against a Chaos Dwarf army with a Kadi Destroyer?
