It's pretty much the only army I ever play against. Fortunately, he alternates between Khorne-heavy and Slaanesh-heavy lists, so it's always a little different.

My list:

Heroes - 429 pts

-Thane BSB: MRoGroth One-Eye, RoBattle, shield - 203
-Runesmith: RoPreservation, RoSpellbreaking, RoDaemonslaying, shield - 138
-Runesmith: RoSpellbreaking, shield - 88

Core - 690 pts

-15 Quarrellers: GW, full command - 240
-15 Quarrellers: GW, full command - 240
-20 Warriors: shields, full command - 210

Special - 810 pts

-2x Gyro: steamgun - 160
-Cannon: RoForging, RoBurning - 150
-Cannon: 2xRoBurning, RoForging - 155 (this was a leftover I missed when I reworked a previous list. 10 points in the trash)
-20 Ironbreakers: RoBattle, FC - 345

Rare - 565 pts

-10 Irondrakes: FC, RoSlowness - 215
-12 Irondrakes: FC, 2xRoSlowness, trollpedo - 280
-5 Rangers: nothing fancy - 70

His list:

Don't have it, so no details, but I know he brought these to the battle:
-10 Daemonettes of Slaanesh
-3 Flamers of Tzeentch
-20 Bloodletters of Khorne
-5 Bloodcrushers of Khorne
-5 Seekers of Slaanesh
-10 Plaguebearers of Nurgle
-Keeper of Secrets (General)
-Seeker Chariot (after I made the pics, I realised the base of the chariot should actually be rotated 90°, oh well...)
-10 Pink Horrors
-Soulgrinder of Slaanesh

Deployment

I got to pick sides, and picked the side with the house and the tower. I decided to largely ignore my opponent's deployment and stick with my own plan (as advised by a more experienced player after repeatedly kicking my behind with Empire). The plan was not too original: castle around the tower, with Ironbreakers behind the lines to provide stubborn-bubble. I originally wanted to castle in the centre and place my cannons in both corners of the battlefield, but I couldn't resist the watchtower, and the hill blocked line of sight for a cannon in the other corner, so I went with this.
By the way, something I couldn't find in the rulebook: can you deploy units and/or warmachines in buildings that are in your deployment zone? And in case of a building partially in the zone, like here?
Rangers are purely there to block the Seeker's vanguard move, which killed me last game.

My opponent places his Pink Horrors in the safe shadow of a hill, only to realise later on that they had no targets in range for their spells.

His Seekers then Vanguarded past the Rangers. I only now realise this was illegal, as he can't come within 12' of me. We are both still beginners, just have one year of war behind us now.

I finished deployment first and won the roll for first turn.

Turn 1: Dwarves

Movement:
Quarrellers into the watchtower. I stupidly decided to put my unit of 10 Irondrakes in front of the tower, to protect it. In hindsight, it would've been better if his Daemonettes charged the tower than if they charged the Drakes. Something for next game.
Gyros move up, Rangers reform to face the Seekers.

Shooting was very unlucky, let's call it a practice round:
Cannon 2 hits the Chariot, but rolls a 1 to wound 🙁
Cannon 1 shoots at the Bloodcrushers, but the ball drops dead right in front of them
Quarrellers on the right put 4 hits on the flamers, three cause wounds, all wounds are saved.
Gyro steams the Seekers: all wounds saved.
Rangers throw their axes at the Seekers: all saved.

No CC yet

Turn 1: Daemons

Movement:
Plaguebearers charge the Rangers: I kill 1 Daemon on Stand and Shoot, and the charge fails.
Seekers charge the Gyro. I wasn't sure at this point, but I decided to hold, since in my experience, a fleeing Gyro has never made itself useful anymore later in the game. Keeper of Secrets also charges the Gyro.
My Soulgrinder charges the Rangers, I'm not even sure if I had a choice here, but in any case, I figured I could stall him if I let the Rangers Hold. He is in their flank, though.
Bloodcrushers charge the other Gyro. I decide to flee now, and he is run down.

Magic: 8 PD vs 4+1DD, nothing funny happens (like chaos gods bombing another god's daemons) and that is the trend for the whole game.
He casts Pavane of Slaanesh on 17, I use a RoSpellbreaking
Maybe I should have dispelled with all my dice, as it turned out he had no LoS for any of his other spells. However, I would need to roll a 15 with 4 dice to dispell, not that great odds.

Shooting:
His flamers are very ineffective: they take 8 shots at my Irondrakes, one shot hits target, but doesn't wound. Hah!
His Soulgrinder is equipped with a flamethrower, which he cannont use at that point.

CC:
3 Seekers and Steeds, with all their attacks, put 1 wound on the Gyro. Keeper of Secrets easily finishes the job though.
Soulgrinder kills 4 Rangers. The survivor panics and flees. He will - to his shame - live to tell the tale of his cowardice.

Wouldn't you flee?

Turn 2: Dwarves

Movement: not much

Shooting is a lot better now, my Dwarves are warming up:
Cannon 2 puts 5 more wounds on the Chariot (it has W8, so 2 more to go)
Cannon 1 puts 5 wounds on Soulgrinder (1 wound to go). It's more fun when I roll a six to wound on turn one (happened the first game he brought the Soulgrinder), but I'll settle for this.
Irondrakes on the right kill a whole Bloodcrusher.
The Irondrakes on the left make it a contest and kill 3 Bloodletters. The referee rules that it's a tie, as a Bloodcrusher takes 3 wounds to die. Grumbling on both sides.
Quarrellers to the left make a fool of themselves by trying to compete with the Drakes: 10 shots at a big block of Bloodletters and nothing dies.
The other Quarreller unit has a better view from the tower-roof (and 15 shots), which allows them to kill 3 Daemonettes.

No CC

Turn 2: Daemons

Movement: my opponent decides he's tired of my artillery:
Chariot charged Cannon 2.
Seekers charge Cannon 1.
Bloodcrushers charge the Quarrellers to avoid RoSlowness and armor-piercing fireballs. These Quarrellers really aren't in the mood for shooting: S&S produces nothing.
Daemonettes charge the Irondrakes to the left, and lose another trooper in the gunfire.

Magic: 6+1 PD - 4 DD
Pavane of Slaanesh again, with 3 dice, I dispell with all 4.
Slicing Shards on the Drakes on the right: I let it happen and lose 3 shooters for it.

Shooting:
Flamers want to shoot, but I kindly remind them that they had marched this turn.
Soulgrinder decides against flaming the Seekers directly in front of him.

CC:
Chariot kills Cannon 2.
Seekers kill Cannon 1.
Bloodcrushers kill 9 Quarrellers, my guys deal 5 wounds back (so another Crusher dies, yay!). They are stubborn, however, so they hold.
Daemonettes kill 4 Irondrakes, and the Drakes kill 2 Daemonettes. Also stubborn. Not a single fuck was given that turn.

Turn 3: Dwarves

Movement:
The lone Ranger runs along, he's almost made it to the horizon!

Shooting:
Quarrellers loosed 15 shots from their tower, and seriously just only put one wound on the flames (they have 2 wounds each).
Irondrakes had to show they could do better and picked off three Seekers.

CC:
Daemonettes all survive this round, but kill one Drake.
Bloodcrushers whipe out the whole Quarreller unit.

Turn 3: Daemons

Movement:
Bloodcrushers charge the Ironbreakers. Keeper of Secrets bandwagons along.
The two remaining Seekers charge the leftmost Irondrakes, but fail.
Chariot just moves, it's not a charge.
Pink Horrors are slowly getting withing casting range.

Magic: 7+1 PD vs 4 DD
Keeper of Secrets cast Phantasmagoria, which I dispell.
KoS casts Histerical Frenzy on the Daemonettes. I use my final rune on that.

Shooting:
Flamers kill two Warriors, Warpflame causes an Ld-test, which my boys pass, so they get a 6++ regen.
Soulgrinder still has nothing to burn.

CC:
Daemonettes can't do a damn thing against all that Forge-proven Gromril Armour. Irondrakes in turn kill 3 Daemonettes. The one remaining Daemonette is all like "screw you guys, I'm going home" and POOF! Gone.
Ironbreakers are not so lucky: 5 die to the Keeper of Secrets, 2 to the Bloodcrushers. The Runesmith, with his Axe of Daemonslaying, manages to fatally wound a Bloodcrusher, Ironbreakers put two wounds on the next monster. One-Eyed Groth saves the day again.

Turn 4: Dwarves

This is the turn of failed movement:
Warriors charge the Flamers and fail.
Irondrakes charge the Flamers and fail. Fortunately, S&S didn't happen or didn't kill anything.

Shooting:
Trollpedo wounds the chariot, one wound to go!
The Quarrellers kill another 3 Bloodletters.

CC:
7 more Dwarves perish, Runesmith again gets the killing blow on a Bloodletter and earns the title of Daemonsbane for himself. All other dwarves prove utterly worthless in combat. On the bright side, I knocked off an arm from the Keeper of Secrets.

Turn 4: Daemons

Movement:
Chariot charges the Irondrakes, and is very lucky to survive the S&S.
The two Seekers charge the Warriors.

Magic brings me a laugh and a tear
9 PD vs 5 DD
He casts Histerical Frenzy on his Seekers. I try to dispell, but fail. Turns out it's a good thing, because it also wounds the Seekers, and they both die.
Pink Horrors cast Infernal Gateway on my left Irondrakes: 2 die, but they also get the 6++ regeneration.

Shooting:
Flamers kill 1 Irondrake. The unit fails its toughness test, and another Drake dies, leaving only the champion alive.
Soulgrinder finally has something to flame. He aims at the lonely Drake, but overshoots (sometimes, Dwarves turn out a lot shorter than you'd think 🙂) right into the watchtower. A quick look in the BRB and some dice later, 11 of my Quarrellers are now toast.

CC:
Chariot kills two Drakes on impact and another during combat. But the Drakes falter not and deal the finishing blow: the chariot crumbles and all upon it are slain.
Keeper of Secrets chews up another 5 Ironbreakers. Bloodcrushers kill one dwarf, so that only the BSB and Solbliti Daemonsbane are left standing. Still stubborn, of course 😃.

Turn 5: Dwarves

Movement:
Finally, the warriors manage to charge the flamers. S&S causes 2 wounds, but both are saved by our superior armour.

Shooting:
The Irondrake Champion, despite his high BS, has a very hard time hitting the massive hulking body of the Soulgrinder from a meagre 9'. If only we had the technology to make glasses!
The Quarrellers, enraged at the onslaught wrought on their battle brothers, and despite teary eyes, and smoke and fire all around, show the Drake how it's done: 1 quarrel wounds the Soulgrinder, and the most exciting two rolls of the game occurs ... (cue drumroll)... no armour save! And no bloody ward either! The beast dies for its crimes against my Quarrellers.
The Irondrakes on the right turn their attention to the foul Plaguebearers and kill 2.

CC:
Warriors kill 1 flamer, Combat Resolution kills another. I like fighting Daemons.
The Keeper of Secrets, I don't like all that much: he wounds the BSB, but the mighty Runesmith puts a wound back on the Keeper. Turns out he has a rediculous amount of wounds left. The last Bloodcrusher is also slain. Thunderstomp then kills the BSB. Fortunately, combat resolution is a draw, and the Daemonsbane still stands.

Mighty Solbliti Daemonsbane against the White Daemon.

Turn 5: Daemons

Movement:
Plaguebearers fail to charge the Irondrakes, and I get a free S&S (thank you 2xRoSlowness): one Daemon dies.

Magic: 9 PD - 6 DD
KoS casts Histerical Frenzy on my Warriors. Since it deals S3 wounds to the unit, I welcome it. 2 warriors die for this gift, though.
KoS casts Slicing Shards, which I dispell.
Pink Horrors then cast Infernal Gateway, I fail to dispell and lose 4 Irondrakes, leaving only 2 alive.

CC:
My Warriors now have 21 attacks and kill the last flamer easily.
Solbliti the mighty Runesmith is finally killed by the KoS.

Turn 6: Dwarves

Movement:
My Frenzied Warriors charge into the Bloodletters.
The two Drakes on the right decide now is a good time to think about survival, and they move out of the Plaguebearers' forward arc.

Shooting:
The Irondrake on the left tries to hit the Keeper of Secrets, but if even a Soulgrinder presents a difficult target, then it can come as no surprise he misses now, too.
Quarrellers also miss the Keeper. It would really make no difference anyway.

CC:
3 Warriors die, but 4 Bloodletters are slain in turn. Had I not bloody well forgotten the +1S on the charge, more might have been killed! Bloodletters pass their Ld test.

Frenzied Warriors, as seen from the Watchtower rooftop.

Turn 6: Daemons

Movement:
KoS charges the Drakes on the right, but 2xRoSlowness saves them from obliterations, and me from losing a lot of points.
Plaguebearers refuse to accept turn 6 as the final turn, and set up a flank charge.

Magic:
6 PD against 5 DD
Magic Shards kill 4 Quarrellers, leaving only one alive (it's a recurring theme in this game).
Infernal Gateway fails to cast.

Shooting:
Does not happen

CC:
4 Warriors fall, but 7 Bloodletters are butchered. The final 3 don't fancy any more carnage, and vanish.

Aftermath
If our calculations are correct, I scored 1695 victory points, and my opponent got 1736 points.
I'm happy to call it a draw, but I can't find the conditions for draw, small victory, grand victory, etc. anymore. Are they in the BRB somewhere?
I think it's clear though, that if we would have played on for two more turns, he would clearly have eradicated me.

Thoughts and stuff
My Quarrellers seem to have little effect, I might swap them for a GW-horde.
We pretty much always forgot that each and every Daemon causes Fear. With this in mind, I think I should probably take Longbeards in stead of Warriors for the shield unit. On the other hand, with the BSB close by, Fear can't be that much of a problem.
I'm thinking of trying out the new Slayer rules, as my opponent barely brings any shooting to the battlefield. However, magic might still be a big problem.
Any more critique and advice is always welcome!
