Hey everyone!

I am attending a local tournament in the beginning og March.

The rules are very basic. All end times rules are allowed, except for magic. Magic is as stated is BRB, so only 2D6 power dice etc.

I am in a bit of a pickle. I cannot decide which list to use. I have to lists written out, both are very similiar, with only slight changes between them. I was hoping, that you could help me deciding which one to use.

The first list is shamelessly copied from Furgil, and looks as follows:

1 Runesmith: Sheild, Ro Stone, Ro Spellbreaking, Fiery ring 128 pts

Thane: BSB, GW, Mro Gromril, Ro Iron x2 171 pts

4x18 warriors: GW, musician: (4x190) = 760 pts

18 Hammerers: Standard, musician, Mro Valaya 337 pts

17 Hammerers: Standard, musician, Mro Groth One-eye 333 pts

1 Cannon: Ro Burning, Ro Forging 150 pts

1 Cannon: Ro Forging 145pts

2 x Gyro (2x80) = 160 pts

1 Organ gun: Ro Accuracy, Ro Forging 170

1 Organ gun: Ro Accuracy 145

The second list, is a modified version of the first list, and perhaps a bit more versatile. It has fewer, but larger blocks of infantry, and one unit of shieldwarriors. :

Runesmith: Shield, Rune of Stone, Rune of Spellbreaking, Fiery ring of Thori 128 points

Thane: Battle Standard Bearer, Great weapon, Master Rune of Gromril, Rune Of Iron (x2) 171 points

25 Warriors: Shields, musician, standard bearer 245 points

23 Warriors: Great weapon, Musician 240 points

18 Hammerers: Standard Bearer, Musician, Master Rune of Valaya 337 points

18 Hammerers: Standard Bearer, Musician, Master Rune of Groth One-eye 351 points

Cannon: Rune of Burning, Rune of Forging 150 points

Cannon: Rune of Forging 145 pts

Gyrocopter: Vanguard 100 pts

Gyrocopter: 80 pts

Organ Gun: Rune of Accuracy, Rune of Forging 170 Pts

Organ Gun: Rune of Accuracy 145 Pts

The idea of both lists:
The warrior blocks will make up the front line, with artillery in between them. The block will be a bit "moved back" compared to the artillery, to make sure the artilly LoS is a big as possible. When the enemy gets within charge-range, the warriors will move up, to protect the warmachines, and maybe counter-charge in the flanks. The shieldwarriors will be in the centre of the line, with the runesmith. In the first list, the runesmith will be in the center warrior unit aswell.

The hammerers will basicly be a bubble/flank guard for the most of the game, moving in if necessary, to act like a clean up group.

I have a semi-large collection of models at my disposal, but I have no extra cannons or gyrocopters. Nor do I have a gyrobomber. I have 2 Grudgethrowers in my collection, along with 20+ models each of ironbreakers, longbeards, slayers and miners. I only have 10 Irondrakes at the moment. I also have enough models to field every lord/hero choice, with all available equipmentkits.

Tell me what you think? Which list do you prefer, and why?

EDIT: Rearranged the look of the second list, as it looked horrible.

Also, special characters are allowed. I only have Bugman, Thorek and Ungrim Ironfist miniatures, though, but I could get Belegar or Grimm. Probably won't have the money for Throgrim though,

I just "converted" a new Lord on shieldbearers (basicly just put another lord on the shield, that i would like to use. But I don't see him having much use in my MMU lists
