So it happened that I bought quite a number of LotR dwarves (luckily, GW ones and not the FW ones) and what can I say? They are of good quality, simple but effective and all in all are very positive. But since they have normal proportions instead of "heroic" ones (when your standard warrior looks like Arnold "Governator" Schwarzenegger) they are a bit thinner and smaller than the FB dwarves, which is fine - they look not that bad together and I've already created a fluff for them which explains it, and also the Fyreslayers too look bigger and more muscular than the 8th dwarves, so it's normal. And what do you think? Is it a really good idea for LotR dwarves to march alongside AoS / FB duardin or even fight them on the field of battle?

Wow .. always wondered about that, thanks for visualizing!

Those heroic models really look cartoonesque compared to the LotR ones.

I guess you could run them. They'd look different from your oppenents models ... and you can repeatedly state that his opponent have a weird scale ;)

I use lotr dwarves for my rangers, maybe they're running to and fro so much they've lost weight. Lol

Here are my warscrolls for them (rangers, warriors and Gimli with two axes). My fluff for them is that they live in Ghyran in a great forest, their society and army are based on volunteers and they tend to only keep their own borders, so they differ a bit from other dwarves. What do you think?
