Hail fellow Dawi,

 

A few years back, a few of us gathered for a forum meet up in Warhammer World in Nottingham UK. We recreated the War of The Beard, Dwarf vs High Elves multi-player battle. And supped a few ales to boot.

 

I'm itching to get to BOYL (Bring Out Yer Lead!) in 2018 at Wargames Foundry: http://bringoutyourlead.co.uk/

 

Basically, it's a time warp where those of us in the hobby in the 80s and 90s can relive our spotty faced youth.

 

Before I commit to organising something like this again, who might be up for it? It'll be around early August next year. 3rd ed rules. Era appropriate armies (doesn't have to be original Citadel/Marauder Dwarfs, Boods or Whiteknights (TAG) and the like are all acceptable "on era" modern equivalents.

 

It's close enough to Warhammer World to be able to make a weekend of it.

 

If there's enough interest, it may actually motivate me to do some painting! *gasp*

I started in 4th edd (I think it was 4th edd HE vs Goblins), don't know the rules for 3rd, though I do have the seige book.
