Hi everybody.

I came across new plastic dwarfs being produced by North Star figures. Should be up for sale in the next few weeks or so

I think they're pretty good - very old school, and with loads of options, which I like.

They look ideal for mordheim, I will have to be picking up a box for sure.

Finally. Someone produced dwarf spearmen in hard plastic. North Star, you get my money. I got plenty of GW dwarf heads to convert these up to look like the rest of my army.

Bulwarkers, here I come. Hellz yeah.

I was thinking that too - I've got loads of iron breaker heads, and I think they'd look pretty good on these bodies.

Hopefully I'll be able to order a few before too long (they're selling samples at the main UK war games convention before the end of the month, so 'normal' release can't be far off).

They're also bringing out elves and goblins at some point too, which is cool.

They look great, perhaps a bit slimmer than usual dwarfs though... but they are fine, good and lovely. I dislike their stands though and i would personally switch them across to square warhammer bases. These dwarves sure do have a lot of good detailed work put into them ... kudos for sharing.

Don't get too excited, you need to wait and see on the scale. I think converting them with GW stuff will be a non-starter, their scale is more like the Lord of the Rings size. At least, their frostgrave range is small and there is a picture of them on bases on which they look really weeny.
