I'm happy to present: The Official Annual T9A Masters: TG PLAY! @ The 9th Age

We proudly present the first official annual T9A Masters tournament ever! The event is being held on 11.-13 november 2016 in Herford, Germany.

After several weeks of preparation and planning you can now look forward to November 2016 to join the first T9A Masters either in the singles- or team-event with your friends.

We did our best to create a comfortable and truly enjoyable tournament environment. Full-board catering, sleeping accommodations at the outstanding venue, “Meet & Greet” with the T9A-crew, official support and much more!

Interested? Check our link http://www.the-ninth...m-single-event/ and SIGN IN as long as there are spots up for grabs!

Update: more then 200 players already entered the registration, about 10 spots left!

EDDITTED OP: Obviously this is the 2016 Masters :-)

It was booked full on very short notice, I think the singles event has a couple of spots open.

For me it was a hard call, cause november had several cool tournaments. This year I chose for a tournament called Bloodstorm, that emphasizes fun over power in lists and games. Example: teams are formed at the beginning of the tourmament by drawing marbles from a sack. I hope to join the next Master though!

Surely an interesting concept, and it could be even more intriguing, if you drew a new teammate every game.
Such a system would really emphasise on adaptations, which every general must have as a skill 😀

Bloodstorm Tourny's are a lot of fun that way yes - think they host four per year again, now T9A is on a roll. Concerning switching in players between rounds: every round the teams will match versus a new team - so more then enough adeptation needed there.

Dunno if it's more than enough, but it certainly will provide an unusual approach.

I'll be building my 2.000 pts list for Bloodstorm the next days; it's gonna be a spin-off of Tha Red Wave http://www.bugmansbr...r-fury-madness/, but it's going to be a little nicer / more themed cause the Bloodstorm ethos is "fun & fluff" over "WAAC". Part two is my looking to get my hands on 20-sh Seeker models ... new or old. I'll open a new thread for this

I'll be at the Masters and I am not 100% sure if I will be using HE, SA or DH.

Thats easy. Keep your beard and play DH. Save it, if you play anything else ! :)

Wow. Haven't seem such a list in a while (read ever). Interesting, and I can see it be tough to face. So no Seekers, bombers, Vengeance, Seekers, Busters...

I think another smith will be powerfull, providing a little more weight in magic, so easy buffs and getting more spells off?

I agree another Smith would be good but I feel I do not want to break the balance of 1 character per unit.

As for not seeing such a traditional list in a while, all I can say is "Beardlings these days, bagh!" :D
