How true is this? Source? If it is, I might get back into AoS depending on rules of course.

Bell of Lost Souls and Spikey Bitz sources, which are usually reliable...

Possible hint to steamhead duardin:

The icon in the black circle is what people assume to be "dwarfish".

That's definitely a dwarf icon (brightened it up on my phone). The question now becomes... what are we actually looking at?

BUT, we'll see what happens

Maybe it's something nautical? I just picked up some irondrakes to add to my pirates, so here's hoping...

In times past, the leaks were a little more frequent. I'm surprised we don't have blurry pictures from White Dwarf by now.

Yeah, I'm a bit pessimistic on this as well....   hopefully it's not full  blown "steampunk".  Mechanization is fine for Dwarves (that is what they are and always will be...  not calling them Duardin!), but I'm hoping it won't be anything too crazy.  Perhaps something akin to the Dwemer sentinels and large golems/guardians from Skyrim?  Who knows?

More important is, when they really will be released? It was said in November, and it's already December. That's not good.

P.S. To be precise, they are not dwarves. They are "dwergar", if originally. All the other names are all false in this regard.

are we sure about that Thorvald?

maybe it could be the greenskin situation where they use the newer models with the upcoming ones.

still pretty decent artwork, not enough dead demon lovers in my opinion though.

Aye, it's all quite vague, but it's the first artwork with the old dwarves, and it can be likely so as with the artwork with the former black orcs and than the Ironjawz release. Who knows? there were rumours of Tzeentch release and then the dwarven one. And good to see also the good old gyrocopter intact!

It is a pretty good news.

As other people mentionedi in other forums i hope they put ironbreakers, irondrakes and gyro in the new steamhead duardin faction.

According to the rumors they will be Tzneech main adversaries.

I find Age of Sigmar really interesting due to covering all the niches in the armies that we saw previously only sketched.

I can't be the only one loathing the idea of becoming any more mechanized than we already are. We've got Grungni back for crying out loud. I want the golden age of the Dawi resurgent. Give me back my devastating runes and runic equipment, and giant stone rune golems like during/before the War of Vengeance. Damn beardlings and their contraptions. Look where that got us. Karaz Ankor is gone. World blew up just like all them new inventions. Nothing we used to build ever blew up. Just saying.

Yeah i have to admit i really don't like the idea of that either.

It would be strange that in a settng where magic plays a very big role suddenly there would be a race that goes almost full steampunk.

Runic magic should be important in this army, Grungni was never a god known for tech, he was known for mining and runecraft.

We constantly hear how crazy runecraft was back in the day, well you have the last main dwarf god here, who played a crucial role in the creation of the most powerfull runes, who crafted the throne of power and axes of Grimnir to boot. (and those sigmarines i guess...)

Are we really going to have the scenario again where dwarves give the humans their most powerful artifacts while keeping the ones that seem subpart for ourselves?
