Glad you liked them.
Works with crossbows too.
Aye! And I found the link to the shop where your landsknecht Handgunners are sold.
I think I will bolster my Marauder Thunderers with them.
More and more Minis arrive and the paining of the first Unit continues.
WIP Pictures soon and I need to update my inventory lists.
Dwarf budged is beyond any bounds this month, but I NEED Quarrellers. and there are no better Quarrellers than the Bugman Rangers.
And I'm somewhat than depressed:
Yesterday I got a bunch of really old dwarfminiatures for a price that was toooo good to be true.
Well after inspecting the minis, and seeing the same unit sold again on ebay by the same lad I was pretty sure that they are recasts.
Well they are the best recasts I have ever seen. Even the bar down of the feet was perfectly casted. Something the russian recasters almost get wrong. And you get it only by minor points. One in the 40 minis had its casting pin not removed. You know that thin line which can be scratched of from the mini, where by the castin process the air got out of the mold. But in that case it couldn't be scratched of because it was now a part of the mini as he had different lines.
Contacted the seller, and he was all ear and gave me the money back for the minis I wanted to sell myself. Because not in a thousand years I would resell minis that I know are false.
So now I have there a bunch of real nice recasts of real nice old minis.
And I will integrate them in my army. But the feeling stays.
On the other hand, if you have an art collection there are allways some false pictures in it. Like in that old C64 classic Vermeer.
So lads stay on your guard, 20 year old minis don't shine in perfect white lead when photographed.
And I will sacrifice six recasted minis this years Keg End to honor all the fallen minis out there.
