3 Versions Of New Dwarf Warband

Hi,
This is my first post on Bugman's. :)
Also my English is not perfect.
 
We are in the middle of the preparations of a new Mordheim campaign and I will be playing Dwarfs.
After a bit of research here on the forums and a few other places I came up 3 versions of warband builds:
 
#1_More Helmets
 
Heroes
 
Dwarf Noble = 85
- Helmet = 10
- Dwarf Axe = 15
- Gromril Hammer (3*3) = 9
 
Engineer = 50
- Helmet = 10
- Crossbow = 25
 
Troll Slayer #1 = 50
- Dwarf Axe*2 (15*2) = 30
 
Troll Slayer #2 = 50
- Great weapon = 15
 
Henchmen
 
Clansmen #1 = 40
- Great Weapon = 15
 
Beardling #1 = 25
- Hammer*2 (3*2) = 6
 
Thunderer #1 = 40
- Crossbow = 25 
 
500GC

Glad to see another dwarf fan posting on Bugman's- welcome! I'm afraid I don't know much about Mordheim (I'd love to play a game if I ever get the chance). Your English is better than a lot of native speakers online, so don't worry about it! ;)

A lot of expert players advise numbers over gear but I think I will go with the more Thunderers build.
I'm not fond of dwarfs running around with knife in hand.

Also I like the idea of the extra bolt fire with the increased range the Engineer provides.

 

I would still like to read and consider the thoughts of other Mordheimers if any of them see this :)

Well dwarves are tough as is. Helmets are a bit redundant starting out. The thing you'll need the most imo is range and numbers as dwarves typically struggle to maneuve. You can make up for that with range and numbers ato east whIle startin out.
