I love this concept picture!  I hope the behemoth is powered by beer, because it looks like it's powered by beer.

I think it was stated that it was powered by oil or the ''black blood of the earth'' as the dwarves call it, but hey you can say it's powered by beer, dwarf ale is just as powerfull. :P

All in all i like it, reminds me of the old juggernaut but with a better armored front.

Looks like a vehicle for my 40K Squats!!!  Must have!!!  Heard rumors that the individual who ownes the mold and rights to the Squats will be producing them...  Not sure if that is true but if so.... must have more...

Not sure I like the concept sketches. Mad Max comes to mind.

Yes agreed blackthorn

It has wheels yet a movement of only 4 inches and no 'melee' weapons or anything yet has 21-26 attacks! I just can't match this up with the stat line.

I think the larger steel dwarf giant guys are a better fit - with the breath attack coming from their mouths like

Agree with BlackThorn and BertieDwarf.

Idea of steel giant...(is better for me too)

Like this, but more fantasy. Look like stone giant in steel armor, under hand pipe with fire, on back big backpack with fuel tanks.

I plan build own Steel Behemoth. Now I try create greater earth elemental(basis body will be same, maybe another hand position)

Conversion will be easy. As I say, plated armor, simple flamethrower under hand, hosepipe to fuel tank on back. Base for greater earth ele is now 60x90mm, so again no problem change it to 50x100 mm.

The melee attacks are simply the behemoth rolling over your ranked unit and crushing the soldiers.  :innocent:

hmmm I'm kinda in the middle I like and dislike this. I figured a steel behemoth would be something walking as the movement being speed 4 is kind of odd for a vehicle makes me feel like they have a flintstone vehicle powered by dwarf legs.

I think that model should be something else not a steel behemoth as the speed is just to slow imo

I dunno, it looks very heavy, they've done well to make it move at all IMO.

Yes, history is full of very heavy and slow war machine, starting with things like siege towers.

Imagine you behemot as something as heavy as a tank that is using to move a batterry of several heavy combustion engines that are individually less powerful that what you see on your average modern scooter but weight ten times as much.

I was thinking of getting an extra one of these from Rivet Wars and using it.

On FB, one guy( Mike ) give me fantastic video as answer to my dwarf golem. They say - Your "own" Talos.

The death of Talos

https://www.youtube....h?v=fdgY9vgRcRw

Hell yeah. He was right.

In Greek mythologyTalos was a giant automaton made of bronze to protect Europa in Crete from pirates and invaders.

Metal automaton Speed 4 (greater earth elemental 5 ), inside fire can be used as breath attack.

And second yep, is powered by internal combusion

Greater earth ele cost 160 pts, steel behemoth 250 pts. So figurine can be possible bigger than ele...

What a epic unit in dwarf army it can be.....

So, it depend on player. Vehicle or walker?

For me walker - win.
