I've completed my Dwarven Weaponised Air Reconnaissance Force (D.W.A.R.F). I know the new gyro model is quite divisive, but I really like it. What do you guys think?

Very Nice

Like the colour combos

Just inspired me to do mine, had been putting them off due to the intricacy, but am going to bite the bullet.

I don't care much for the models, but that's just me.

Your interpretation looks very good. Nicely done!

To explain the colour scheme - red is the main colour of the hold with brass/bronze as the main metal colour, but the blue/grey is the colour of the engineer's guild of the hold, so both are combined. As the name of the hold would suggest, black is a special colour and only makes a few appearances.

I've been majority neglecting my dwarves recently, so I thought it was well overdue time that I cracked on with things. Here's Grimm Burlocksson.

I'm also putting the finishing touches to my longbeards command, and starting on some warriors. I'll show pics here when they're done.

I've finally finished painting my irondrakes, but have also completely changed how I want my dwarf army based. The irondrakes are my first unit with the new style bases - made with a runic rolling pin from greenstuffworld ( http://www.greenstuf...ller-Runic.html ). I've also based a few of my other models to give an impression across my army of what it is going to look like.

Really nice painting, they look dark and menacing. And the bases are awesome =)

Second on that, the work is amazing, and I especially like the worn-out a bit look of the minis and the dark copper of their armor :)

Those  bases ROCK. I love them. Lovely paint work, too. Good job!

Slayers are flocking to the Hold of the Ebon Hand; maybe they are at the forefront of more reinforcements?

I've painted 5 unit fillers for my slayers as I was looking at the 2 units of 20 that I would be having, but want 3 units to be able to play some of the end times games. I've also painted some of my 2nd unit of slayers. I quite like the aesthetic of the fyreslayers, but don't really play AoS, so happy to use them as normal slayers. I'm doing my best to make them be easy to rank up, but it's tricky owing to the posing of the arms.

Something tells me more slayers are on the way, since Ungrim is holding the ork head from the AoW Berserker set.

Nice painting, nice army!

I'm supposed to be painting more slayers and the crew for the Goblin Hewer, but instead I had an idea to construct my own style flame cannon. I never really liked the GW one and certainly didn't think it fitted the style of the other war machines. No crew constructed at present, but these will be made from old style plastic dwarves. What do you think of my converted flame cannon?

These look fantastic, the Metallic Red especially on the Gyros and The Irondrakes are great, any chance you would say how you did them?

Thanks.

I love converting models! The flame cannon looks cool so far. Any plans to fill it out, maybe in the mid-section?
