Just found out, that I missed a Kick-Starter from Titan Forge to create a Dwarf/Golem army – but it is founded at last. A little bit too much stream punk for my taste, but very nice. The Ancestral Zeppelins would be a very fine (and cheaper ^^) alternative for some Gyrocopters.

For the kick-starter: https://www.kickstar...etop-dwarf-army

There are also a few models available on the web page: http://www.titan-for...es_metal_beards (Some models like the Gatling Gun changed in the final version.)

To date I only saw the sea pirate ogres, but they had a good quality.

EDIT: Just saw there was an article on dakka dakka with some dimensions details.

And the Ancient Forge would be a great base for a war-machine conversion.

anyone tried any conversions with the Ancestral Zeppelins? I could see using the balloons and just chucking the rest

Nice, those zeppelins are out! I was waiting on those.

Does anyone have the dimensions of those zepps?

Those Golems look ace as well. :)

I'm probably gonna use the Zepps as Gyrobombers with extra bits from the GW set... If not to play with just to be a quaity centerpiece of the army.  The rest looks a little too mechanized for me

where can you get all of the minis featured in their kickstarter? a whole army with steam-punk dwarfs would be really great looking...

any more info on the history of these dwarfs?

Sadly, these minis are vastly smaller and "spindlyer?" than i had hoped.

There quite petite, but an army of just purely them would look good i guess.

I still want to collect em, i going to run them as necrons in 40k!

Google Titan Forge miniatures. You can order direct from them. I did finally receive my Monstrous Infantry dwarfs from them. great kit, looks sharp, and will be fun to paint. I'll use them as unit filler.

I got mine a goodly while back but wedding things prevented me from doing anything with them. Managed to work on a few bits, aside from terrible moulding the Zeppelins are nice, as are the big 40mm Guardians.

The regular infantry though, shudder, I put less than a dozen together and I ran out of both superglue and patience (and I have a lot of patience). Not sure I want to try again and thanks to an accident on my wifes behalf I got to find out how insanley fragile they are too, you can look at them and they will shatter.

I'm certainly going to give the warmachines I have another go but I might look at offloading the rest of the infantry.

Those WMs are fantastic. I love them! I'm doing an engineering themed army, so I think I'll replace all my WMs with those in time. The zeps rock too!

Aye something like that.

Just did a whole audit of all my Dwarf forces and thought I'd put together some of the war machines. Canon and Ballista fine, however the stone thrower, oh my that thing is horrid, the parts are a royal pain. Might take a look at the gatling gun some time soon.

Not had a chance to put it together yet, hoping to have a crack at it this morning, but as they were selling them cheap I did pick up another Canon (which I'm using as a Flame Canon due to having three regular ones anyway) from TheTrollTrader.

Well aside from the crew I've finished putting together the artillery, weirdly had a whole spare set of legs so I borrowed a spare mortar barrell to make an extra cannon.

I will say that the darn bolt throwers were a lot worse to do than the stone throwers in the end. The arms are just terribly set up, so I snipped the strings and left them without.
