A GT has a 55% chance to hit with Accuracy, I believe. A Cannon has uh... 60% ish, I believe. 65% maybe. It's around here somewhere!

Yea well my math says this:

EDIT 2: Fixed my derp

Grudge Thrower

1/3 to hit = 33%

With reroll its 2/3 * 1/3 = 22% extra

Not misfire 35/35 = 97,22%

So chance to hit = 53,47%

Cannon

inch 10 has 68% chance to hit

Not misfire 35/35 = 97,22%

Not misfire Bounce 35/35 = 97,22% (unless if you're using a engineer instead of forging, then its 83%)

So chance to hit = 64,27%

But keep in mind that when the grudge thrower misses it can still hit something else or even if it scatters 2" you could hit the same target (depending on its size ofc) which would add another 8,88% chance to hit, bringing it up to 62,10%

I think that a GT brings so much more then a Cannon that im always going to field 1-2 of them.

Ya i would love to see that chart too! I have always wanted to use GT more often but against monsters and characters that s10 and d6 wounds is hard to beat. I would love to see the sheet tho

Derp, made some errorous calculations here but the sheet is still correct on the small Base page, I'll fix the others when I get home.

Keep in mind however that a cannon will hit both rider and mount when it comes to monsters, something a GT does not. A Cannon also has more potential for killing off MI/MC if they're all lined up an' propah!

On the other hand, grudge throwers can hit things indirectly, which is very valuable.

Problem with MI/MC is that they block cannonballs and GTs still have a chance to kill em.

Anyhow GT and cannon is looking more and more equal in my eyes, with GT being a littlebit ahead atm.

I can see the use of a GT for sure but in one battle a cannon killed a soulgrinder and deamon prince doing 6d6 wounds both times at s10. As much as I would love a GT to do the same it just will never be able to take that spot in my heart the cannons have now haha. But thanks for the chart that's some cool stuff
