I have to admit I'm a little underwhelmed this morning. They don't look like Warhammer dwarfs so far. At least it'll save me a few quid this month. I'll get the book and a continue buying old metals.

Sorry, didn't see that thread. I made a research but didn't see any topic with the pics so I thought you still didnt have. You can close this if it's the case. 

Btw I can't understand the helms, they don't have runes. What are those decorations? They seem elven decorations to me.

The slayer is great but I don't like the pose. Not realistic.

I'm not certain about these new dwarves either. They look part cool, part unfitting for a dwarf. Helmets are indeed weird, and I had expected some more creativity than just put jewels on every piece of armor. On the other hand, I was never a fan of the metal hammerers, and I think I might just like these guys a little better. Also, the armored look just might mean they get gromril armor.

The hammers do look great, so if I don't like the entire model, I can convert them without feeling bad and just put warrior helmets on these guys.

Think the slayer is pretty cool.

I do love how they put weapons in the beards. I just read the BRB description of dwarves two days ago, where it said something like "a well-bladed bears is considered a weapon in it's own right" and then described how such a dwarf could kill a goblin with a contemptuous jerk of the head.

I don't wanna be the old grumbler but for now it looks like the last two releases, no new dwarfs for me. I just cant get excitet about these, yet again monopose, hammerers. The overall feel of them is weird... too much gemstones and strange looking helmets. Will wait for better pictures for my final judgement.
The slayer is fine IMO all he needs is a differrent paint job

Don't panic yet... I've just seen a slightly better picture of the flying slayer and his face looks more detailed/aged. They might be dwarfs after all.

The Slayer is very promising, very dynamic and the sculpt is generaly nice. It seems the pose was inspired by an older artwork, the defense of eight peaks I think. There was a slayer whirling his blades towards an Orc boss. I would only change his berad, it`s too thick.

The Hammerers are not exactly my cup of tea, I`ll just stick to the previous metals. Perhaps people will start getting rid of them and flood E-bay with cheap elites

I like the new models, remember they are plastic, so you can always fix the pose.

The hammerers in that picture lack facial expression. Perhaps its the small nose or big eyes, but they seem to have a zombie or "i don't care" kind of pose.

I think (or hope) its the GW paint job (wouldn't be the first time) that makes me not like them so much. Hopefully they look a lot better in real life. I also have to say so far I'm not such a big fan of the helmets. I hope there will be alternatives available.

I actually like the helmets.  And I find the jewels appropriate for the body guards of the Dwarven Kings.   I just hope it doesn't cost us $50 for a box of 10.   That would be very...disappointing...

I like the model, just not the blue/white stripped pants.  Too 'Empire' for me.

Interesting it seems only a single Slayer Character for the initial release.  With the metal Slayers disappearing it makes me wonder if there is another change for the Dwarfs.  Perhaps we'll see a plastic regiment of Slayers later on in the release?

This new release schedule is killing me!

The reason why the helmets aren't nice is new yet their making one kit for hammerers and ironbreakers so the helmets suit ironbreakers but not hammerers
