that is going to be really imposing on the tabletop. cant wait to paint that.

from felix himself on aow forum

The banner is composed of two pieces: the two upper banners (Loki & Gollnir) and the two below (Bjorn & Tyr).
So you can asemble it using only one of them or both.

For convenience, the banner will be resin, while the dwarf will be avatarium.

I can imagine that on the battle field it'll look good right up to the point it either falls over or breaks.

Still a nice model!

Interesting.

I certainly want to see it assembled before passing a final judgement.

So far I like it but don't love it.

Edit: A little bit of info from Felix the sculptor

Edit 2: 'Avatarium' should be metal, I think Felix is just messing around :P

That is a massive banner....  not quite sure what I think of it though.  I'll wait to see the final cast/sculpt before I decide.   ;)

I like the Dwarf holding the banner... I want him with a bg hitty stick (axe) instead.

A very impressive banner, right up until the point the model either falls over or the banner breaks. I can't really see that model being at all practical for the battle field. Nice display model though.

For the picture I'd say it will look cool. But I'd rather see it finished too.

The banners look a little to much for my taste. I would rather place them on my hold.

Else the figure looks nice, and will certainly make a nice banner bearer.

I have to agree with Morgrim - it just looks too large to me, although making it using only one of the banners might be alright.

I suppose if you mounted it in a medium sized pinnace, or jolly boat, it could do duty for the Admirals ensign or such around Barak Varr.    :chris: :pirate: Haul Away matey...aarrrgh.

I like it, and I think with the banner in resin and the figure in metal it should actually not be too top heavy! :)

I can't quite tell though what's going on with his arms. I see two hands on the banner pole, but can't make out where they connect to the body...
