Hey all!

I'll be at Bayou Battles this weekend with a standard dwarf list (three hordes, war machines, etc). Hope to see some of you there!

3-1-1 was my record. Better than last year, batrep in Battlegrounds to happen once I figure out how to get my pics from my IPAD onto my computer and write them.

Trolls of Chaos (draw), Skaven (victory), Skaven (kicked my teeth in), WoC (victory), Empire (Victory).

I went 2-3. Lost the first game against a tough Dark Elves list. Won my second game against a double Slann, double Steg list. Won my third game against a Beastman army.

My fourh and fifth games that I played today were against too very tough lists. Fourth game was a Tomb Kings army with the Level 5 Death magic character, along with a level 4 light magic Mage. He had a casket and a big unit of 8 necropolis knights, along with 5 units of skeleton archers (20,20,10, 10, 10). He had an ability to store up to 3 of his unused dispell dice per turn, plus he generated an additional d3 casting dice, plus he could toss an extra dice on every spell he cast. He had 12 dice every turn and was getting spells off like crazy. His screaming skull catapults panicked my unit of 30 hammerers and BSB off the board in turn two or three. My miners did not come on the board until about turn 3 or 4 and it was a complete rout.

Game five was against a double stone horn list with two units of mournfangs, along with his gutstar unit with slaughter master, bruiser and butcher. I was able to actually kill this gutstar unit and eventually take out the general with shooting, but the stone horns were able to roam free and decimate everything else. I killed one unit of mournfangs in the first turn with my unit of Longbeard rangers, and my rune lord on the anvil held off the other unit of mournfangs and forced a break test which ran them off the table.

A couple of mistakes here and there were duly noted, but I think my impatience did me in!

Had a great time in Houston and look forward to next year!
