Aye, greenstuff for all the hats, and the presents. hardest thing was to greenstuff the hats, as each one starts off as a triangle of GS, put round the head band, smoothed, folded and then the blob of the white ball on the end. Took me ages to do them, and I am not looking forward to doing 30 AoW slayers with them on. Although there is an idea to make Reindeer horns for them instead...

I tried to play about with general conventions, with the Grudgers throwing presents instead of bombs/stones, and the Gyrosled dropping bombs instead of presents.

I have recently altered the 'Night before Christmas' poem for my army at the Throne of Skulls. Let me know what you think?

Twas The Night before Kristmas

"Twas the night before Kristmas when all through the hold,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a rhinn so bold.
The stockings were hung by the chimneys with care,
In hopes that Zanta Klaus soon would be there."

The Dawi were sleeping, all snug in their beds,
While visions of gold danced all in their heads.
The Longbeards were drinking, and I doffed my cap,
I had just settled my head for a long winter’s nap."

When out in the Valley there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the chair to see what was the matter.
Away to the door I flew like a bolt,
Tore open the latch, and went into the cold."

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow

Made an eerie silhouette, like a cathayan puppet show.
When, what to my eyes should appear,
But a rocket propelled sleigh, and our hearts they did cheer."

With a little old driver, so lively and strong,
I knew in a moment, to whom the sleigh did belong.
More rapid than eagles his engines did burn,
And he whistled, and shouted, causing passing heads to turn!"

"Oh Grimnir! Oh, Grungi! Oh Valaya, and Gazul!
Your fellow dwarves are in a spot of trouble!
To the top of the hold! to the top of the wall!
Now to arms! To arms! To arms, I say, all!"

So up to the mountain-top, the sleigh he did fly,
passing on the message, the rallying cry.
Dwarves were awakening, escaping their slumber,
Forming their lines, adding their number."

And then, in the twlight, I heard from the fore,
The prancing and shouting of goblins and more.
As I drew round my corner, and was turning around,
Down the steep valley, greenskins came with a bound."

They were dressed all in fur, from their head to their feet,
And to our shieldwall, we were headed to meet.
A bundle of bombs Zanta flung from his pack,
Greenskins exploding, slowing the attack."

But they kept on coming, in an endless horde,

3 ranks, 4 ranks, 5 ranks and more.
Our line was prepared, shields interlocked,
The cannonballs loaded, the crossbows all cocked."

The dwarf lines erupted, a flying mass of shot,

The organ gun, pistols and cannons got hot.

But the Grobi mob shrugged off all the damage,

And to the Dawi lines the greenskins did manage."

There was too many, for the dwarf line to hold,

The tide of foul goblins leaving dwarf corpses cold.

They smashed open the gates, heading down deep inside,

And there was not one place that the Dwarf-kin could hide."

Several years later, we survivors returned,
To reclaim the Kristmas-hold, to rebuild what was burned.
We have come from afar, and here we’ll Remain,

So the Karak Zanta banner flies proud once again."

We will fight with old tactics, using presents as stones,

So we’ll regain the hold, and bury their bones.
We don our old clan colours, of deep Red and White,

And we will kill every Grobi that comes in our sight!"
