that whole Austin San Antonio region, i "I swear too much"umed there would be ton of players, but so far every gaming store ive been too has been closed down, gone derelict and switched to Magic and Yu gi Oh and other foul CCGs , or focused on smaller scale historical tabletops
anyone playing in this area would be cool

I don't offhand know the general local websites, but check out the GT websites, and maybe try emailing them. Houston Warhammer has a facebook page.
Houston - Bayou Battles
San Antonio - Alamo
Austin - Wargames con
Dallas - Lonewolf

I go back to SA to visit family a couple of times a year and try to stop in to the gaming stores when I get a chance. I think there is a Dragon's Lair comics in the Medical Center. It is off of Medical Drive just south of Fredericksburg Rd.

The website shows that there is a store in Austin as well.

I think that there also used to be a Dragon's Lair on the corner of Guilbeau Rd and Tezel Rd that had a lot of gaming areas. I have not been in that store in about two years and it does not show up on the dlair.net site so my guess is it is closed - or perhaps not affiliated with Dragons Lair at all.

Hobby Town USA is on 410 between Vance Jackson and Jackson Keller. Don't know if they have any Warhammer stuff, or gaming areas for that matter.
