Hello,

I require your assistance. I am really tempted to get myself a package of these mentioned berserkers. But I have some questions. I tried to look with the search tool but not much success.

So as my whole army at the moment consists entirely on Mantic Minis I would like to know how these bad boys compare to them. Are they in scale? Do the proportions of their arms, legs, whatever match? Even a little so that they don't look the odd guys out. I really like the appearance of these minis (only thing I don't really like is the standard but I guess that's easy to solve) and really would want to use them as part of my army. Not to mention that they cost close to nothing with the current price range around there. Pictures are always nice if you have any for whatever reason.

Ok, on to other subject. As mentioned I have only Mantic minis and therefore I would like to keep most of my army made out of these guys. Just to keep some coherency. Ok, I am planning on using those other berserkers but I don't really like the idea to pay the same price for 5 minis instead of 20. So that's that. Anyway I need an idea how to make myself some miners. I have a nice unit filler planned and I already have this which will fit nicely in the theme. So I would need around 15 or so. Ideas?

Thanks whatawittyname. That's a really good picture and really shows the differences and similarities. I can see that the berserkers actually look a lot more like the mantic dwarves than GW range. Only big differences are the size of the head and beards. But I don't think that's really a problem.

It's really not an issue, Agrem. I'm converting Mantics into Chaos Dwarfs and using AoW Berserkers to convert some special troops and war machine crews - the sizes are fine. The AoW models are far better quality than the Mantics, but I paid next-to-nothing for two boxes of Mantic Dwarves so you can't argue really.

I'll be very interested to see how your stuff turns out.

Yes it seems that they would suit very well for the army. I also like the price/quality&quantity ratio on the minis.

I'll have to take some pictures of my army. Perhaps even tomorrow. I actually have most of my army already painted.
