Before anyone asks i do have tatoos lol and fully understand they do not come off.

i am really interested to see what everyone come sup with and why it is there favorite.

A few years ago, it was the hammer hitting the anvil. Now I like the ancestor face too. The one on with the big beard!

I like the ancestorfaces.

I also like some of the holdsymbols;

The karaz-a-karak symbol is one of my favourites, but the symbols of karak hirn and karak izor are pretty cool too.

I really like the Hammer splitting the anvil...great stuff. But the one I find myself doodling all the time is one that I made up myself....I think...I've used on a couple of my banners and shields....the sun rising over the mountains..as you can see from the last picture its something that I came up with way back in the 1990's...before most of you were born...

I like the hammer/anvil symbols, and my personal banner of a silver raven with a black backround.

about 10 years ago i had a tatto on my right shoulder , it is the rune of might , i drew it my self then got a new tattooist who used to be an artist to do it for me
i love it
it looks like my shoulder is made of stone and the rune has been chiseled out of it

i have pictures but not sure how to add them

I love the bottom right one. It has everything. An axe, some fire and even an Ancestor icon.

I use the hammer and anvil symbol for my clan. Somehow I would like to include a bolt of lightning (being Thunderforge) but don't want it looking Chaos Dwarfy.

I also consider the hammer splitting an anvil a Chaos Dwarf glyph; the anvil is a symbol of endurance for us Dawi!

I'm not a lover of the ancestor faces, but I like the fluff behind 'em, dwarves worshiping dwarves. I just find it a bit strange having disembodied heads everywhere.

Other than that, keep it as simple and obvious as possible; an axe; a dragon; a tankard; make it clear by which clan you are about to be killed! :D

You'll have to post a photo of the tat you get done!

Yeah I am loving these icons in here. I have a brand new pair of white Vans waiting to get some artwork applied to them. I can tell ya what they will be sporting soon.

@TBO: Where did you find those pics so I can get some more ideas?

An easy way is to set up a free account with an image sharing site, such as Photobucket. Once uploaded to photo bucket, you can just click to copy a URL that you can paste into forum posts :)
