Unlike?
I dunno... just something about some of those kits that makes me worry about what we've got in store for us... sure it's fantasy, but sometimes fantasy can go too far... I think the elves have something to do with this!

I love the models too. The griffon is extremely impressive! The mini griffon knights are rather random though. Also the witch hunter assassin-type character looks really cool.

I feel some little scenarios sort of van helsing style slaying going on
I hope they bring Halflings back if they do I'm tempted to start 2 empire armies

What has happened with Karl Franz gryphon? It has become enormous!!! But I do like the new demigryph knights. I think I am going to buy them when they come out. But everything has become so enormous; I hope that they use this like a giant griffon in the rules because I like the old griffons more.

Always knew they would be my next army. Those models just make it that much more likely. Need to win some tournaments

As for me, Empire was always just masses of infantry, supported by artillery and knights. In adition to that, few brave characters (Warrior Priest!) and one or two mages.
This thing on pictures is "imperial zoo & collegues of magic united" and while looking at it I'm really afraid of what they gonna throw into our new book. I don't think that bigger always means better but GW certainly does! Putting all those monsters, MI and other must-have-super-duper-large-centerpieces in every new armybook? Well, as for me, they could leave it just for Storm of Magic.
Am I becoming an Old Grumbler at age 28 already?

The Witch Hunter and Master Engineer (sniper guy) look cool, but some of it, like the giant carriages look to cartoony for WH. "Imperial zoo & colleagues of magic united"

Absolutely brilliant to include gypsy carts in my flagellant clown army- yes. (My old giant has flagellant clowns.)What are you guys talking about, that looks absolutely brilliant.
I'm not going to be switching back to Empire for sure; but I am actually impressed with the Demigryphs, and floored by their horrible price. It will be cool to see the new rules though...
I resound the concerns for our future also- I see Teddy-Bear cavalry in the future that will make the Pumbagores look cool.

I have to say I'm a big fan of flying monsters...the griffion looks pretty awsome. May have to get one just cause I like it so much. Demygriffion knights are cool too. I don't really like the wagons much but they really fits with the empire's fluff...big werid essentric stuff. Esspecially makes a bit more sense how the empire has survived so many wars...always thought it was annoying they survived just by the discipline of their state troops. They always needed some more essentric machines and monstorous stuff...and those wagons/war alter and demygriffion knights fit the bill.
