Just for some fluff I would like to name all of my units.

I would appreciate some names for;
Longbeards.
Warriors (great weapons+shields)
Quarrellers
Thunderers
Cannon
and
Miners

Thanks.

My Longbeards are the only Infantry that are not green; they have a red color scheme and I call them Kildrak's legion (Lord Kildrak is my Lord)

Cannons would be named after a couple of the Ancestor Gods.

Grudge Thrower is the Grudge Department

Miners are fluff wise not of my Hold, and I don't have a good streak of bringing them on the table when I want them, I have dubbed them the Gamblers.

And going a little off topic, my friend who has started Lizardmen has had a hard time keeping them ranked up and mounted. So, in BattleScribe, his Cavalry unit has been named Arnold the Clumsy Dinosaur and the Domino Brigade.

A fun way to write fluff is to derive from great (or terrible) performances in games. If you have one unit that always seems to hold out no matter the odds, you call them something like 'the steadfast steelbeards'

I would appreciate some names for;
Longbeards.

Lurigs Longbeards
Living Ancestors

The grumblers
Gadrin's Grumblers
etc.

Warriors (great weapons+shields)

The broadaxe clan
The ironhands
The axewall
etc.

Quarrellers

The traditionalists
The sharp shots
Rankni's rangers
The steelbolts
The rockbolt clan

Thunderers

Dragonbelchers
Soothfaces
The tinkerers
The thunderbolt clan

Cannon

Old reliable (generally used in a sarcastic fashion)
Old bella/Heidi
Grimnir's wrath
Grungni's craft
Valaya's retribution
The great thunder
Thunderbringer
Avalanchecaller
Grudgesettler

Miners

The moles
The pickaxe clan

The diggers
The tunnelers
Gravvelclan

I would probably name them after a family of the hold, or a famous character. I think it'd be more helpful if you made up fluff and lore about your hold and worked from there instead, y'know? It doesn't have to be too complex!

I use Ironbreakers with a champion in them. The champions name is Fundin, a dwarf of venerable ancestry and with a might beard to boot. His group of Ironbreakers is famous for having rooted out the Cackling Crazies Night Goblin tribe, and so they're now simply refered to as "Fundins Ironbreakers".

How about that, as a quick exampe?

Paint them with bronze and call them Fundins Bronzebreakers. :)
The miners can be called "The menace of the ***** mountain" for example if you want to use a certain place in a name.
