Nice choice in mini's and nice clean, crisp paintjobs. Though they lack depth in my opinon. There'sno real contrast between the colours. Everything more or less blends together, somewhat blandly. But that's just my opinion. Which is at best, taken with a grain of salt, seeing as I have no pictures of my models posted on the Brewery.

I really like the plain colours of the slayer, they make the bright beard contrasts really nicely. However I sort of feel the metallics are a bit too dark. The weapon just looks way too 'low quality' for a dwarf to use :)

The thane is rather cool though! Very nice detail :clapping:

Loving the slayer, but would have to agree with Squergi about your metallics, i think the axe edge could do with being slightly brighter due to its sharpness.

I guess my problem is I don´t really like the metallic colours but haven´t got the skill to do NMM so if anybody has any good ideas for getting it to look good I am open for ideas. What I done on the metals here is to paint it and then cover with many different washes off different colours, I think I got it right for the thane but the slayer I can agree simply went to black

Lovely painting.

In relation to the metallics, i'd try a watered down metallic "wash" over the edge of the blade.

Not much painting has been done lately but at least my slayer got two friends done, only 9 more to go before I finish the ones I got. At this pace I am probably done by 2015 Posted Image

Looks awesome!
I, for one, love your colours; it brings a sense of realism (ironically!)--the orange really jumps out.

Keep it up, I look forward to seeing more of your fantastic work! ;)

Perhaps the least active person in here I got some vacation and decided it was time to do some painting instead of only watching the rain. I finally finished of my gyrocopter.
