Yup, I like those lots Especially glad of the one of Vanyon vs Highelf's match, I've been racking my brain most of the afternoon as to what his third unit was when he played me, for use in the batreps I've started writing, but from that shot I can see there was no third unit (unless you count the chicken)...

It all looks great! Who's dwarfs are that on the first couple of pictures? I'm really digging them.

Also how did the matches go, did we kick the elves back to their island once more?

I became a bit of a fanboi of Thane Morgran's army. It's quality, hence a few pics. Oh and yeah, Dawi wonn, but the odds were stacked in our favour

In the first battle He had archers, spears and the eagle, I had Shield Dwarves, Longbeards and a Thane. He crushed me, never underestimate spears, gosh they get an awefull lot of attacks. If I remember correctly, He charged my longbeards with spears and the eagle in the same round, I whiffed and he didnt. I ran and got run down. In 500 pts it was pretty much over right there. Eagle was in my rear because for some reason I thought he had to use ground movement to charge and my thane would block it......I was soooo wrong hehehe.. He flew over my thane and smacked the LB good. Meanwhile my thane is standing there going Ummmm which way did he go, which way did he go? As usual I have deleted all records of that game so that I can fondly remember my victorious dwarfs without having to curl up in a ball and cry about my horrible loss.

And yes, I hadn't quite appreciated JUST HOW MANY attacks high elf spears can put out, even without being in horde. Thank the ancestors they're only strength 3!
