http://www.forgeworl...R-WARRIORS.html

Forge World posted these, as well as some rules for the unit. Pretty decent rules, I might add.

I hope they're followed by some book and more models, and they do not get too much OTT stuff like other FW inventions. I hope, but it's a fool's hope, I guess...

Beautiful miniatures but too expensive for me at this point!

I like their look. They look original and interesting (which is quite hard to achieve with nowadays). I'd love it if GW actually just adopted them into a new army book.

Fimir have been around since the first edition of WHFRP. Most people will recognise them from the Heroquest board game. Why did I ever bin mine?!

i hope forge world makes the fimir balefiend for SoM, as even though he doesnt fit fluff wise with a dwarf army hes a pretty good wizard....a zoat model would be nice to.

Aye, Forgeworld have been producing some really awesome stuff as of late..! Was going to make a new thread for the newsletter I got today but might as well put the link here to the Chaos Dwarf Daemonsmiths!

http://www.forgeworl...EMONSMITHS.html

Why don't Forgeworld do good old traditional dwarven stuff? :(

I do have to say that the rules are a bit convoluted and they do seem a bit over the top. I am just happy that they brought back what was once a staple of the Warhammer world!

I'd like to see a Golden Age series of models from FW for Dwarfs. Something epic, legendary, heroic poses and the like. A "new" range of Dawi from years back.

@Alebelly: Are there rumors about a Golden Age book or is that just wishful thinking?

@Alebelly: Are there rumors about a Golden Age book or is that just wishful thinking?

Wishful thinking to date. Other than there is going to be 4 books in the series, and each of the Chaos Gods will be represented, there is no hard and fast details.

But, thinking logically, FW have created an Empire from past glories, more than likely so that they don't compete too closely with the bread and butter plastics. Such figures are aimed at the more serious collector. If they were to do their take on Dawi (and why wouldn't they want to?) I'd imagine it would be from their WH timeline, which is centuries before the current timeline, no?

Whether or not that goes back far enough to realise a "Golden Age" series, I don't know. I'd be amazed if they didn't produce Dawi and Elgi minis though, especially considering their predominance when holding back the Chaos tides.
