I decided to post pics of my warhammer armies sitting on their terrain... I've got 16 armies, so it will take me awhile just to pull them out of the case to take the pictures. I'm thinking it might even inpire me to do some more terrain for those armies I don't have the terrain for or to fix some of the armies that look like "I Swear too much".

I am starting with my Dwarven army - probably my smallest army and definitely the worst looking of the lot. I finished the dwarven fortress, which makes them appear slightly decent. Most of the figures in this army I traded for thinking I would either repaint them of do some repair work - but I have not.

I must proclaim that for the moment, I don't have any decent close-up pictures, as the macro lens on my camera is out of comission - so if you ask for a close-up of something & I don't post one - you'll know why - sorry. Maybe by the time I finish posting the 16 armies I'll have a new lens.

So here's the photos - feel free to ask questions...

This looks terrific. The water fall effect and the fault/fissure in the rock are amazing features. Also a cleverly defensible spiral entrance.

I'm impressed with your dedication.

the fortress is terrific and absolutely stunning,
but I must agree with you on the paintjob of the dwarfs, which is pretty lacking.

looking forward to see more!

Woah 16 armies :o that's impressive. Not as impressive as your dwarf terrain though. The army looks really nice on top of it. Also I noticed your gyrocopters are flying really high up that actually looks really cool.

And hey with 16 armies - all of your models can't look like they'll win slayer swords :D

I have an additional terrain piece for the army but ran out of table space. Here's the look at this army - feel free to ask questions.

If you are talking about the one in the very front - riding a crocodile.

The Lizard platforms are particularly nice :) I like the statues, just think it's a shame they're not of frogs and lizards so much as men. A new side project for you? ;)

Army #3: Dark Elves

Some of the pieces here are starting to get quite old, including some of the first warhammer figures I have painted. Funny how you have soooo many figures painted at such different stages (some coming up on 30 years) and differnt skill level. Not everything in the armies have been painted by myself; many trades through time & a few ebay purchases now & then. Even though I have over 100,000 points in WHF armies, I still have countless pieces still in boxes & blisters unpainted....

Well, here goes the dark elves...
