Gotrek and felix, look at the bottom of each post. There are a few buttons with little icons and names like [b]profile, etc.
Click on the one with 2 little people icons and the name [b]pmessage to that poster.
Feel free to try pm-ing ME as a test.

How do you delete a post? I've accidentally posted something twice
How do you access you file to put location ect. on that you didn't originally?
Does a post stay on the board until it gets pushed off?
My computer often asks for my login password twice, and sometimes more than twice before it allows ME to post. Are you supposed to login twice, or more? Or is my computer just screwy?

No problem, Iroxx. Remember, there are only stupid answers, no stupid questions.
You can delete your own posts by looking at the ToP-right corner of your post. It should have several buttons there, including a quote-button, an edit-button and a button with a cross on it. This last button can be used to delete your own posts. Note that if you start a new thread and someone has replied to it, you can no longer remove the whole thread. In that case, pm one of the admins, and they can remove it for you.
You can edit your profile by clicking on the "profile" link in the ToP right corner of the screen, next to the Bugman's Brewery sign. This link will take you to your profile page, where you can edit your location, among other things.
A post will stay on the board for a limited period only. It will slowly go down the boards as new threads are started, and after a while it will be deleted from the database, to save storage space. How long this takes, depends on where you post, as some sections will be busier than others.
This shouldn't normally be necessary. Not sure why you would have to enter your password more than once. You might want to check this one with Bugman himself.
Hope this helps!

Number of posts = rank. Doesn't mean you can spam. You have to build up your posts over time. Unlike ME  or Grimgar

To be honest I believe extra ranks should be put in the 600 and 1500 post marks, to fill in the large gaps there at the moment...

or someone has to be regularly posting for years... if someone has been posting for years, even if they don't have a huge post count - maybe give them a personal subname... cdron, Scabby, Ranulf, Nick H etc.
people who have been contributing quality stuff for years... to ME that's all a subname should recognise
