Hahaha, I love reading these! It's great to see such variation :) Perhaps when I've been around and gathered a dwarf army I'll introduce myself :P

Greetings Lads,
David from Australia, 27 y.o. and in the Army.
Married with a 2 year old daughter.

Played a bit of 40K in my early teens, sold them at about 18 after not playing for a few years.
Always found an excuse to walk into the GW shops or stockists, took up Fantasy about 2 and a half years ago. Got a couple of mates that play (HE,Skaven & Lizards/TK) but no GW store at home. Have only played 1 game of 8th Ed, having been away with work for a fair amount of time.

Don't tend to say too much as most of my questions are answered by other peoples posts or threads.

Enjoy a beer or 7, Keen on cars and motorbikes.

Ah how's it down under? Have the priceincrease had any effect on you yet? What do you do in the army? (How's it like being married with a 2 year old daughter? ) And last but not least, nice butt. :) Pardon my sense of humor, feel free to throw a keg or two at me while you are at it'

Alright, alright. I'll fix the grammer. :paint3:

Married for a couple of years now, we ALSO have a 2 year old daughter.

Couldn't tell you what it's like downunder, been away for somewhere in the realm of 9 months. I assume pretty warm.

With the price increase, haven't bought anything since it came into effect and I did most of my purchases with Maelstrom and Wayland; though that's obviously changed now. :aggressive:

I play with radio's for work, and we're quite proud of the butt calender in the room!

A reintroduction, since my former one were so brief.

My name is Sebastian and I'm 18 years old and I live in Sweden. I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to playing and painting warhammer even though I'm buying models left and right. (So I got a huge pile of unassembled and unpainted warhammer sprues). I fell for the dwarf army since it got so much character and cool artillery pieces. The beards and attitude was a plus aswell. I'm also thinking of collecting another army that got everything the dwarfs lack but nothing that the dwarfs have, so my natural choice would be Beastmen. Since they seem to be the most non dwarfy army gameplay wise. But in this slow snail pace I'm painting atm my models, dwarf and beast alike, will never be finished. But one can dream, right?

Here is a recent, up and close photo of me sporting the Slayer(ish) mohawk! Just need way more beard and longer, orange hair to get the perfect result.

My name is Darko Stojanovic, I'm from Kragujevac, Serbia.

I'm currently working as a medical physicist in Clinical Center Kragujevac.
Although I may not look like one, I'm a Dwarf as is my family on my fathers side... ;)

The best thing about Warhammer is playing with live people and getting a lot of new friends.

My picture is on my profile, as is all the relevant data. Hope to meet you in some game or something.

other than warhammer i love military history(ancient to modern times) and have studied it since i was 9. i also love spending time with my 12 best friends who are more like family they are so close...(although only 2 like warhammer, and only 1 is actually getting an army,DE)I am Jewish and strongly believe in the religion. i also have played guitar for 11 years...(i know it sounds unlikly but its true) so naturally im quite good.

in colleage i hope to get a degree in politcal science or international affair.

i have a large dwarf army, a combined WoC/beastmen army, and i started an orc&golin army when the new book came out back in March.

My name's Justin and I live in Athens, Ohio. I work for a nonprofit and manage the 211 system for my county (public information on food and utility assistance, as well as other health and human services resources for individuals in need or with low incomes). I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology, and when I'm not obsessing over dwarfs I'm obsessing over social justice, locally sourced food, and economic injustice. Oh, and I'm married, so I don't have to pretend to *not* be a nerd for social purposes anymore! :P

I would be Adam, from Vancouver, British Columbia. Twenty-three now, I was introduced to the hobby many moons ago. I started with Dark Elves back in 5th edition and have since broadened my horizons hardly at all :D. I grew a beard for my second army, and both my Druchii and Dawi model counts have grown to ridiculous proportions. At heart, though, I am an Elf, and the fact that my other two armies are Wood Elves and High Elves rather attests to this. Not to mention the Eldar army that occasionally gets brought out into the light of day.

I'm a runner when I leave the painting station, and have competed in races ranging from 5km to 80.5km (50 miles)

I'd love to post a pic, because to be frank, I'm gorgeous, but sadly, the cameras have never been able to keep up :D

Hi! My name is Chris...I live in Vermont (hence the "VT") I'm in my late 30's...started playing Warhammer in the Late 80's with the 3rd edition ...when I also acquired my love of old citadel and Marauder Miniatures. I played up through Graduate school and then put the hobby down for about 15 years before rediscovering my boxes of minis about a year and a half ago....I was determined to sell them...then I started researching them...and found there were other weirdos out there like me that still loved the old figures :whistle3: So (much to my wife's dismay) I sold off all the Non-Dwarf and Non-Empire figures that I had and started to fill in the gaps in my collection. About a year ago I took the plunge and started painting again as well. I have yet to play a game since rediscovering the hobby...I can't bring myself to buy a whole new set of rule books... <_< but I hope to convince some friends to play 3rd edition with me soon.

In my real life I'm a Nautical Archaeologist (I look at shipwrecks) I'm happily married and a father of 2 beardlings. My other interests include stream fishing, Acoustic Blues Guitar (hence the "Blue"), camping, canoeing, and Military History.

Here is a pic of me heading to the "office"

WOW !!!! Being 25 HERE AT THIS SITE MAKE ME FEEL OLD

25? I think I can remember being that old... You're just a pup and probably one of the younger ones here! :big_boss:

Most of you know my actual name by now having been chatting about the War of the Beard event and the Gotrek mini, so I guess it can't hurt to say a bit more :)

I'm Matt, I'm 34 (boo) and live in a small village between the Hampshire and Berkshire borders. I live with my girlfriend of almost 2 years (a looooooong time for me!) and our two 12 month old Beagles (Alfie and Molly) who eat our house. :aggressive: I've managed to draw the misses in to the whole Warhammer thing. She'll never play ofc, nor paint, but she has become very vocal on the monthly painting contests and still thinks I was robbed last month lol! ;)

I was "into" Warhammer and all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy in the mid-late 80s and beyond. I stopped playing when I was around about 14 and have only recently been coaxed back in by my cousin, who teaches and runs his kid's WH gaming club at his school. I wish I'd kept all my minis from back then as I had an awesome collection of primed OOP models. They'd easily have funded my Dwarf addiction now!

This is me and my lil boy Alfie when he was about 7 weeks old :)

Guess I'll throw my info in.

My name's Cory, I live in Richardson, TX, just north of Dallas. I'm 39 and 11 months, married with four kids (22, 20, 13, & 12...also a 5 year old who's no longer with us). I work as a sysadmin and get to work from home full time, so I never have an excuse not to have fully-painted figs.

Not sure if this will load right, but here's a pic: https://www.facebook...&type=1
