[Lord Kazron Grimbrow]

NOTE - LIST HAS BEEN EDITED TO REMOVE SHIELDS AND ADD SOME MINERS, SEE 7 POSTS DOWN...

Hi all,

After having been reading and re-reading the latest White Dwarf I think I have come up with a fairly solid army for the latest edition of the rules, but let me know your thoughts!

[This army comes to 2999pts.]

PS. This army is a sort of dwarf cult based around the worship of Grimnir, hence the unit names. See my Blog for full background information!

Why have you given your dwarfs with GW, sheilds? They can't use them anyways. Apart from that I think it's a good army.
Maybe realease som points (hopefully from all the shields) and fix a dragonslayer for your slayers.

But with the new rules in 8th edition, can he use the sheilds when someone is shooting at him? What I've come to understand is that if you have another weapon than handweapon you have to use it, and if it's a GW then
he shouldn't be able to use the shields?
Or is it me, who heard wrong perhaps?

i also don't know why all those shields. Give a unit rune of grungni this way you have 5+ ward on shooting and magic. And without shield you will have 5+ save and 5+ ward. 50pts worth less then all those shields

Very true Goztek, and yes you still get 4+ as vs shooting with shield.

Thanks guys, I see your point on shields - the points and usefulness value for adding a DragonSlayer &/or Runes far outweighs the value for having shields...

I shall edit the list and re-post it!
