Personally, I like it. It seems to answer all the main questions and does a decent job with the errata as well.

Hehe its funny they seem to have left out the Storm Banner issue, I thought that was one of the most asked questions.

And it is nice to see that our poor initiative characters get look out sir! rolls for the Crack's call spell.

Holy... 3 pages of errata? Storm banner being one use only changes a lot though. Now I'm actually looking forward to fighting them again after reading all of this.

While it was nice to see GW get some balls and include that much Errata, the book actually needs more errata than that.
And, as usual, the FAQ creates a few additional questions, or the answers it includes fail to resolve the issue.

Poor are the people who bought the book... wasted money since you need 3 additional pages to make it work... and still it's not good enought!

ok 3 pages for errata and 5 pages for FAQ......thats just a badly written book, look at the dwarf one I don't think we have half of that.

I know that the Errata isn't perfect (like most of GWs work) but I thank Grimnir that the Storm Banner fix is there. :hunter:

I despise Skaven, I have constantly had issues playing against them. Any nerfing of their army book has to be a good thing.

Actually, the FAQ doesn't seem to nerf them too badly at all. In fact, there are a fair amount of answers that are really good for skaven. The stormbanner and tokens being one use only seems kind of obvious and realistically it should have been played that way all along so clarifying that does help a lot. But the doomwheel getting 360 charge, furnace getting to march and shoot, and the bonebreaker being US4 are all really good for the skaven and kind of unexpected. But I'm just glad that its out and has answered most of the big questions, making the army much more playable.
