Are the Chaos Chosen Knights good?
The detail on this Lord sprue looks disappointingly soft.

I don't think GW would appreciate something like that happening

Of course they'd be outraged but it would be so terrible for one person to cast one sprue to create one model just so hundreds or thousands could see it?

One word. Lawsuit... Alright two, massive lawsuit.

Helbrimm - you are absolutely correct about the "lawsuit" to do that copy thing would be an infringement on GW's pattens, copyright, and trademark. The price you paid for the sprue would be the lawfirm's junior associate's hourly rate in that scenario.
Very cool model - dated 2006 - interesting as to whether that was the copyright date for this model, or the date of the piece itself.
Be neat to see completed.

Because of health problems that have arisen I am forced to drop the hobby side of Warhammer for the forseable future, because of this I am putting up for sale several materials I had laying around for future projects.
One of these materials, as you know was the plastic Dwarf Lord + Shieldbearers sprue. And I couldn't just toss this beauty onto Ebay without letting you guys know about the sale first, incase somebody would be interested.
So, if you are interested and want to beat the (hopefully large) Ebay buzz around this sprue please send me a PM with an suitable offer, we'll work it out from there.
Thanks,
// Helbrimm

Dargon, on 23 May 2009 - 01:30 PM, said:
I had a go at the Oathstone, but either it's beyond my translating skills, or it's just a bunch of random runes - more likely the former in this case
I got the following words...
"Or" - Which translates to "I" (as in me).
"In" or "An" - no obvious Khazalid translation.
"Grimeni" - best guess is "The one who is unyielding"
"Addrengakha" - best guess is "SLAIN!!!"
So something like, "I am unyielding. I am slain!"
I'm very impressed with the runes so far. It appears some decent thought has gone into them.
Just a thought...
Maybe: "I am unyielding, I am a Slayer!"
Hahahahahahaha! That would be nice as heck!

And then I have read the thread again...
And found that surveydan77 was the closest in translation, but, according to 6th ed. dawi book, it is a proper fully translatable sentence... And I could not resist wrestling with it, just a little... I just love Dawi language, the way the words are formed to express whole sentences...
"Or" - Which translates to "I" (as in me).
"In" or "An" - Translates as will/shall/am going to/with purpose .
"Grimeni" - this should be read together with the previous giving the word "Angrimeni" (An-grim-en-i) ... "The person which is going to remain unyielding"
"Addrengakha" - broken into components (Ad-dreng-ak-ha) translates into "did (got) slain !(this is the 'ha' bit) "
This gives us the great battle cry: "Or angrimeni addrengakha"
So the closest free English translation would be: "I will remain unyielding, until I get slain!", or shorter: "Unyielding 'till death!"
So, sorry for going on with this threadomancy, I just felt that this is a good thumbs up for the Dawi fluff, that deserved the closure and I'm sorry I missed it originally!
Have one on me!
