I've never been a collector of things I end up just looking at. With this sprue you could create a unique model to place on the table. Since no one ever clips the sprue, you will probably have the most unique "no-conversion" model around. I would definitely build it! It looks like a nice sprue.

I'm currently working on a other conversion project in which I'm attempting to convert a Forgeworld Chaos War Mammoth to a Dwarven War Mammoth and thus the sprue hasn't gotten any attention just yet.
I'll see if I can find some time tomorrow or the day after that to work on putting the model together. Sorry for keeping you waiting

Truly a pity it was never released, as I like the set quite alot. It's still plastic, but with no doubt the nicest set I've seen so far.
Who exactly is supposed to carry the Dwarf Lord? I see arm bits that could be used for this purpose, but where are the carriers themselves? Plain Warriors, maybe?

There are 2 Dwarf heads, 2 Dwarf bodies and 2 Dwarf bodies with head in the sprue so you can create the full model with just this sprue.

I still don't get it Helbrimm - you'd need two bearers and the Lord himself, making three models, right?
Look at the top right quarter of the sprue in the first picture (or the entire 2nd picture). From left-right, you'll see - 2x Shieldbearers, 2x Shieldbearer Arms (plus what looks like a shoulder guard), 2x Dwarf Legs/cloaks, and 2x Dwarf Head/torsos.
End result = 2x Shieldbearers, and Dwarf Lord for on top (with additional body parts for a Thane or Standard Bearer).
Huge thanks to Helbrimm for the pics. They were definately worth the wait and make for a much better look than we've ever had of the sprue.
Just a thought...

Has anyone translated the runes on the oathstone or banner? I'll maybe take a crack at it this weekend if someone doesn't beat me to it.
I had a go at the Oathstone, but either it's beyond my translating skills, or it's just a bunch of random runes - more likely the former in this case
I got the following words...
"Or" - Which translates to "I" (as in me).
"In" or "An" - no obvious Khazalid translation.
"Grimeni" - best guess is "The one who is unyielding"
"Addrengakha" - best guess is "SLAIN!!!"
So something like, "I am unyielding. I am slain!"
I'm very impressed with the runes so far. It appears some decent thought has gone into them.
Just a thought...
