After a few issues with Paypal the model is now finally paid for and hitching a ride on a UPS plane towards the Netherlands. I can't wait to start cutting into this model

Received my model and I must say it's a shame GW never released the sprue, there are some very cool bits on there. I'll start cutting and taking pictures when I find the time.

Looks like it makes 1 lord on shield bearers and one plastic standard bearer, didn't they do something similar for the orcs?

Aye, with the sprue you can create two complete models; 1 Lord on Shieldbearers and 1 BSB.

Yeah thats been out a long while as I havent ordered from GW for over 2 years, maybe 3, and it was available back then. Still havent taken mine out the box

I'm sure it came out roughly when the last edition was done, was it 2006?
