If you do dare to decide to make the snip, I'm sure everyone here would be very appreciative if you could play around with all the possible configurations with full photo documentation before doing anything more permanent with the pieces.

I'll make sure to make quality images of all the pieces / bits and as much configurations as possible. Have to get myself a Lightbox first though but putting one together shouldn't be much of a problem.

After a few issues with Paypal the model is now finally paid for and hitching a ride on a UPS plane towards the Netherlands. I can't wait to start cutting into this model .

Received my model and I must say it's a shame GW never released the sprue, there are some very cool bits on there. I'll start cutting and taking pictures when I find the time.

Looks like it makes 1 lord on shield bearers and one plastic standard bearer, didn't they do something similar for the orcs?

Aye, with the sprue you can create two complete models; 1 Lord on Shieldbearers and 1 BSB.

Yeah thats been out a long while as I havent ordered from GW for over 2 years, maybe 3, and it was available back then. Still havent taken mine out the box I'm sure it came out roughly when the last edition was done, was it 2006?
