½ ogers 62
½ light cavalry 35
total 97
you have 1 table quarter
(top left contested, top right my units are to small, bottom left contested, bottom right yours)
I get +100 as mangil killed a unit, and I might get 100 if your longbeads had a banner?
my total 445+100 (+100?)= 545 (645)
your total 97+ 100= 197
Diffrance 348
result- massacer to me!
Good game mate, though me being idiotic and rideing my entire army up the flank (was hopeing to flank you then relise that I had nothing to keep you facing forwards!) worked rather well!
If you fancy another game I'm happy to play empire, dogs of war, dwarf or woc at anything from 1000-2000 points

For now, though I enjoyed it, I'm going to stay out of any games. I simply can't handle it for some really odd reason, though I don't lack time. In essence that is, for every day I do find I'm out of time.
My biggest mistake on the right side: facing left with my xbows. That lost me a vital turn of shooting, which, looking back, could've saved the day.

Fair enough. My bad for intervening, then - I thought you'd missed something.

No worries, it's nice to know at least one person enjoyed the game with us, or so I hope.

This sort of thing is handy for me as I have no clue how to play the game, I can learn by just reading your posts, cheers

well prob the best bet if you want to learn is to have a training game- I'm happy to right up a quick 1000 point list if you want and then 'couch you' if you want?

I'd be very grateful of this but I am so busy with sorting out the catalogue of all the figures and the manufacturers review that I wont be able to do it yet. I only have one Dwarf Army book and I think its the 2000 version, does that matter too much?

I don't think so- 2000 version is last edition right? so its prob out of date, best bet if your wanting to learn is pick the book up your self, then we can get a decent army together (not a realy hard gun line but a mix of CC and shooting and then get a small game going)

I'll have to find the newer version somewhere cheap
When I've got that I'll give you a shout and we can get a game going where you massacre me a lot more than you did to Gramlin

Close in turn 1 I think, I'll go very downhill after then
I think I'd prefer to go against Dwarfs for my first few games, I can live with being beaten by them !!! Theres no way I'll play against an Elf army until I am a veteran, cant face the shame .....

well dwarf vs dwarf may be a bit boring to begin with- unless you want to learn a difrent army, If I bring an all infantry empire army though its not going to be tearing you apart

men on foot sounds good, may give me the advantage I need. I've no interest in playing with any other army, Dwarfs for life. I'll pickup the book as soon as I can

cool- well I'll right up a 1000 point empire list, then we can work on a 1000 dwarf list together and then get a game together- once you picked up the rules we always take it to the next level- I'll pick up some cavalry maybe?
