Greetings all.

As a devout Dark Elf collector I stumbled across the Dwarf Berserker by Avatars of War, I bought it painted it and am now proud to say that I am am now a fully fledged Dwarf collector.

I have been busy painting some slayers to go with the Berserker but went retro:

C&C welcome

Not sure they fit in with the Berserker but I enjoyed painting them.
After being inspired by Jimmy Trout ( We're still waiting for an update Jimmy! ) next up some Imperial Dwarfs!

Please bear in mind they are still WIP but couldn't wait to post. Any tips on improvement welcome.

Great minis! smile.gif I have most of the imperial Dwarves, but I didn't paint any. I have other thing scheduled, so they are going to wait a bit. wink.gif I love your slayers.

Welcome to the dwarf side of life!

Wonderfull models those slayers, one day I'll have to put some effort in tracking them down myself. The 6th edition slayers aren't bad, but they are nowhere near as funny as these are.

Imperial dwarves are great, and you've painted them well!
Keep adding more of these!

Dark elves? Anyway you play with dwarfs now, so I guess I can forgive you that. Excellent models and great painting, specially your imperial dwarfs they're looking really nice (you said they're WIP right? I just can't find what's missing on them, maybe their eyes?).

Great stuff!!! Welcome to the club of old dwarf enthusiasts ... those who know exactly what the best minis Citadel ever made are! First off, I love all those models. The Marauder slayers have never been matched. Not even close. They have so much character. The one looking up at the giant is my favorite slayer fig ever!

And the Imperial dwarves (not to be mistaken for Empire dwarves) look great! Nice color scheme and beautiful, clean painting style. Let's see a picture with the unit ranked up! How many more do you have? Do you have a whole army of OOP figures? We'd LOVE to see more, so keep 'em coming.

Bravo!

Jeff

Thanks very much for the kind comments it really means a lot. yahoo.gif

My humble apologies to Tungdil Goldhand I never meant to mislead with the post title it just popped into my head.

Pistache - Thanks, they are WIP I needed to finish the eyes and thought about another highlight on the blue cloth but am still unsure, and also cannot decide on shields yet.

Jimmy Trout - I am truly honoured by your comments.
The plan is to raise an army There are another load of imperial dwarfs bringing the unit size to twenty, next up is a regiment of Bugman's Rangers RRD1 (my favourites) followed by the marauder MB1 Dwarf Regt, but am still hunting for the sergeant and the standard bearer.
I'm in two minds as whether to convert the powderer from the siege gun set into a standard.

Indeed I like it, a lot. The masked crewman has always been one of my favorite minis

Nice models, good paint jobs. guinesssmilie.gif Let's see if the dark elf can handle his first dwarven ale. I like the crewmen with the mask.

Good paint job, though on some of those models I'd stick the shields on, cause those circluar blocks for them can kinda stand out.

I like your organ gun. Just add some more highlights on the wooden parts and it'll be an excellent paintjob. smile.gif
