Not saying the paint was not thin enough, it might in fact be to thin, what I was trying to say is you might be putting too much paint on them at once. No matter how thin your paint is if you put loads of paint on at one time it will mask detail.

Today i finished the work on the Auric Runefather on Magmadroth. Had around 12hours of painting on him. Was very scared painting flames for the first time but im not to unhappy with the final results, never used that many layers of paint to get something done before but it was a nice model to try some things out.

Today i finally managed to get pictue's of the Runeson and Runesmither. Unhappy with the blueish metal so trying something new on the Longbeards i started painting. Feeling the skin is getting better slowly on the Fyreslayers each time but alot of room for improvement (trying to leave some shadows from earlier layers) but its looking better in real life as allways.

Today i finished my 2nd group of Longbeards. This time with great weapons. I wanted a change and went for metallic blue this time and im very glad with the results. Sadly when glueing on the shields it kinds messed up the paint (both the armour as the shields) so i have to see if i can repair that in some way soon, allso shows i need to fix up the banner abit still. When next time visiting the GW i will try to get a 2nd box to do the 2nd 10 of them. Anyways here are the picture's, i hope you like them.

So today i managed to finish 2nd batch of 10 Fyreslayer Bezerkers. Last time i got the suggestion to use a flesh wash as finish for the mohawks/beards so i gave it a try. Allso made a group picture of this 10 and the complete 20 Fyreslayer Bezerkers. Still abit scared to do the tattoos so i only tried a few of them this time.

Flaming heck! That’s a lot of fyreslayers! I love that they’re on snow bases, it suddenly makes it seem like there’s more going on to why they’re where they are.
The trousers and tats tie them in to your army really well.

Indeed. Thinking of making Half Blue Fyreslayers someday to or mohawks with blue/orange as a variation someday. They are there (together with a skyport of Kharadron Overlords) to protect the upper reaches of the hold.

I went old school on some Space Wolves and used PVA glue and bicarbonate of soda. It did look good but it goes yellowish after a while!

Today i had some time over and managed to paint Grimwrath Bezerker and my 2nd White Dwarf, here are the results. Sadly the sunlight didnt help showing the axe of the bezerker and the white dwarfs beard well.
