Torendil (and the rest of you if wondering);

Unless I specifically ask you not to post when I call for a test, then feel free to post normally and just put the result of the roll as an OOC aside. I don't want you to feel you have to wait for everyone to roll and for me to do something before continuing. This will rarely be the case, and when it is, I'll let you know.

Also, for future reference if you don't have dice then you can always run an internet based roll by googling random dice generator or something similar. Here's one I found on a google search: http://www.silviotor...ators/dice.aspx.

I'm usually in #Albion, so I just use the die roller there.

Given my appaling level of contribution to the thread I doubt it really matters, but for what its worth I'm still vaguely around, just struggling to find a place for orderic in the group...

I'm sure once we see some combat you'll fit in just fine.

Yes, I'm alive. Dose of reality hit me as I had one final deadline to complete before the exam period begins. I'm still going to be fairly tied up for a few more weeks, but just to let you know I haven't forgotten and will try and get something posted up :/

re the armour, probably not if I'm absolutely honest. I know he wasn't wearing it earlier for the investigations, and we haven't returned to our accomadation since then, so at most he'd have a few important pieces of plate on, but not the full set. I'll leave it up to you how much protection that provides.

Toughness test: Toughness test for sewer (1d100=7) (passed)

OOC: Just how well do Skaven see in the dark?

I think the more accurate question is how well does Maeglin think skaven could see in the dark based on his past experiences?

Would my previous miner experiences help here? From what I know they see reasonably well in the dark, but I don't know what Skalf knows.

I'd leave that as a judgement call in your hands. If Skalf has had reasonable encounters with skaven before then he would probably be aware of such things. If you feel he may not have through direct encounter, you can make a common knowledge (dwarfs) check to be aware of the fact that skaven are pretty accustomed to minimal light and that the fire is probably for warmth.

Allright, I did it this way, I took the common knowledge check (rolled 27, passed) to see if I knew some things about skaven. Since I passed (and since I was a miner in my youth) I'll assume that I have some very basic skaven knowledge from now on. Good enough?

BTW; Loving the RPG, it's a bit slow with the exams and stuff, but it's nice to have something to follow.

Thanks; I'm enjoying running it, so its no trouble. And the pace depends entirely on how fast people respond. We all go through ups and downs of activity. You may have noticed that I've been far more active this last week because exams are over for me now...

So if y'all want it to go faster, keep posting regularly smile.gif

Hyarion, just to clarify - you *can* still see through your mage sight but your vision is obscured/fuzzy/misty by residual magic, choose whatever term you like to describe it. It's not so bad as to invoke any penalty in game terms.
