All,

This is a place to post pics of your Dwarf Battle Standard Bearers. I created this thread so that I could add it to the Display Categories sticky thread above, and so that folks wouldn't have to dredge everywhere to find pics like this. It is preferable that all images would be of finished products since it's a "display" of sorts, but WIP pics are welcome too.

Here's Maxxev's BSB to start things off.

Cheers, Gary

You use the IMG tags before and after the link to where you've stored your picture. For example:

Hope that helps...

The base dwarf is the 'champion' from the old 6.5 organ gun. I will have to get a better camera before i post my BSB. He is the old white dwarf who had the huge axe in both hands. I removed the axe and added some plastic banners on top. Will try and post in the next few days.

It's one of the crew from the 5th edition organ gun, the fuse lighter guy.

i'm going to re-vise that guy as an Ironbreaker standard bearer and make another, I have the official model now (the LTD standard bearer) going to go to town on the banner a bit... and perhaps his eyebrows.... might even go ALL to town smile.gif.

Anyway, point is, though that WAS my BSB and I think still quite a decent conversion for a BSB, it's no longer my BSB... but I think should remain here as an example of that great model used after the demise of the old organ gun smile.gif

I should really get round to finishing mine, but until I do here is the WIP shot (on the right).

I do intend to finish that model at some point over the summer, infact all of the dwarfs I currently own.

Its ironic that I happen to be posting this today as I was just working on my Chaos Dwarf BSB!

Well, I'd never published a picture before. I hope you like them.

These are my BSB's.

My regular one:
Battle Standard Bearer

And my Slayer Army one (he's made from a "Juramentado", by Gamezone):
Slayer Battle Standard Bearer

Stormcrow.

P.D.: Thanks Silas.

Here is my BSB. It is based on an old runesmith model (don't know which edition). The bannerpole is from the Bret knights. The banner decorations are banner tops from 6th/7th edition plastic warriorsprues.

Just finished Uncle Grimm. He is the Battle Standard Bearer for Princess Antracite Grimaxe and carries her personal banner (which has a much different emblem than my normal-hold banners):

I think he is a Reaper figure (not positive about that as I have owned the guy for quite some time). And I can not for the life of me remember what he had in his right hand originally... prankster2.gif

Hope you like,
GG

PS In case your wondering it is a ram bursting through a shield with flames, just for fun. big_boss.gif

@Screwdriver: very nice job indeed! Cheers for that...

@GG: that is indeed a reaper fig. I have it as well and use it as a character in my army. Nice job on the banner as well...

Cheers, Gary
