The Lost Lord:

Have you spoken or PMed BLOOD AXE before you did this? This has been his project for awhile now and you don't want to steal his thunder. no.gif

I applaud the initiative, as many here need to learn to use the search function however, IMHO you should have at least quoted the guy or something.

BA isn't going to be in for a while, he's a bit busy at the moment.

And while we wait for him to compile it in a neat little pdf-file, I'm sure he doesn't see any harm in compiling it in one single linked thread. That way it's easier for the new beardlings to access it, and easier for us to refer to it.

I have a question about this guide.

With 7th Ed fast approaching, how will BA account for changes/ new uses for things that players find after it comes out? I assume it might affect uses for something. Will the Guide be updated?

Yes it will. However, since the Dwarfs are the first 7th edition army, the changes to a dwarven army list should be minimal. The only real change I see happening is all scouts becoming skirmishers (I'm not saying they will, just that it's a rumour that has been around for some time.), then we will have reopen the rangers thread. But besides the 5wide ranks, no real changes are to be expected.

While I applaud your work on the Dwarf guide LOST LORD, it would have been nice to be acknowledged for my efforts. A respectful nod in my direction would have been apropriate.
(thanks DD)

Thanks to all who have contributed to the Dwarf Guide. Please continue to do so!

I intend to condense the topics into their best parts, getting rid of the inappropriate questions/comments and strays from the topic at hand. Cheers to DOURIN for keeping an eye on things.

The Dwarf Guide is a "work in progress". It won't be finished till 7th is released and we can make adjustments for any rules changes.

Thanks to all for your hard work!

I won't be around regularly for a little while but if you need to contact me the email me:

May your beard grow long and your axe stay sharp!

Well done Blood Axe thumbsup.png for all your efforts with these guides they really are useful, and Im sure the Lost Lord merely had trouble navigating around all of them, and thought it would be useful, and helpful to create an index.

Anyway I don't mean to nit-pick but im going to since there are a couple of mistakes [Deamon Slayer, Thunders, Hamers]? We don't want those Elves thinking we can't spell our own troup types, so any chance they can be corrected Lost Lord?

While all my congradulations go to BA for an excellent talking point and not too mention some hary advice to refer too tongue.gif . I must also clap Lost Lord for taking the initiative to put this as a whole topic in the brewery, although IMHO you should of waited until it was condensed as it is still only a link too the large topic for each one.

Hopefully though someone (Hopefully BA when hes not busy) will get the time too complete this project by condensing the information somewhat.

Again though I would like to congradulate BA on a wonderfull project (although perhaps un-finished) have a beer on me O humblest of law keepers thumbsup.png

The deploy and conquer link is broken. I was thinking of making a deployment article.
