New Look!

Hello,

Well its been a busy week here at the brewery, a few goblins got in but with the aid of my trusty crossbow and a tankard, i think most of them are <strike>fixed</strike> killed.

As it stands, I hope to have the gallery back tomorrow. We had to go back to a November backup to restore the pictures that somehow became corrupted in the process. I will finish off "regenerating" these tomorrow and we shall have the gallery opened back up again. There are some pictures lost, basically anything you have uploaded in the two weeks i believe. I am sorry about this but there is nothing i can do. Please delete the "picture" you uploaded and reupload, its that simple!

And now to some more important news, a fan out there, Piru has been hard at work with his trusty computer and done some amazing fan work. We have a new banner, a new icon and a desktop background which you can download right here!

Sweet! Thanks Piru!

So, any problems give us a shout, oh, and that annoying swear filter, well thank "I swear too much" its fixed!

Bandwidth Thieves!

Evening All,

Just bringing your attention to a little known problem in the hosting world of bandwidth theft. Every time you look at a picture somewhere, that picture is being served up by a hoster and counts towards their bandwidth allocation. Every site has a bandwidth allocation (those that are on unlimited are kidding themselves) and must pay for their bandwidth.

Normally here at the Brewery it's not a problem, we consume close to 40 gigs a month, so imagine my surprise when I see that for October, we clocked in at at 124 GB

This increase is from one reason only, people posting imagines here but then reporting the same images on another website which then cost this website.

That is theft, a small but meaningful theft.

So, measures have been put in place and management are now discussing the best way forward on how to deal with the offenders

Be assured that as ever, we will keep you informed and that the Brewery is not going anywhere

The Warhammer Forum (Twf) Is Down.....

Hello,

The usual hang out for sane warhammer players and home of the ETC (whatever you think of them they do play a part in the warhammer culture), The Warhammer Forum (TWF) is currentley offline.

Why? We do not know, they haven't changed over to their new name as yet and probing the darker depths of how Internet sites work shows the server that TWF is on is currently off. What's worse the DNS for the server is also offline.

I would like to think that this is just a glitch but to have both offline for so long probably means the company has gone bust

Alex, the owner is aware do all we can do is wait

I don't know where the usual people are hanging out, maybe over at bad dice, but the doors are always open here folks
