Hail Dwarfs!
So it took me about 5 hours to get these 8 Dwarfs together. Ya I know it sounds pretty pitiful but I am very heavy handed and I had a rather large learning process to go through with how much glue to use and how not to destroy the models. I'm just glad there are a ton of extras on the sprues that come with the Battalion box.

I'm planning on making this my first row of 8 Quarrelers. I think they came out pretty good but I'm not sure if the dual wielding Dwarf all the way on the left is over kill. When I first started making him I thought it was a cool idea but now I'm not sure. Any thoughts? I also plan on adding GW's to all their backs except for the SB and Musician. Once I have them all set I am going to try using some green stuff to make straps to give the axes a realistic feel. I saw a few people do that on this forum and I really liked it, but who knows how difficult using green stuff will be.
The thought of painting these guys is really overwhelming. I am planning on using army builder, but just the thought of doing a good base coat is really giving me some worries, especially on the standard. Considering it took me this long just to build them I am guessing it will probably take me 3-4 hours to properly base coat each one, but hopefully it will speed up over time. I am just going to try to be very patient and enjoy myself. I had a blast just building.
Another question I have for you guys is do you place all of your characters onto their stands in the same position, or do you slightly turn them here and there to make them look better the way they stand? If you notice I don't have them all positioned at the same angle, because some look better turned slightly. I was thinking to add them to their stands one by one and set them the way I think they look best, but I'm not sure if that is a good idea.
Anyway thanks for reading! I'm hoping to finish the other 8 tonight, but it might make me 2 nights. I'll post another picture once they are all done.

Some people like their regiments to look perfectly organized, while others like them too seem as a spontaneous instant captured in time. (... man that was beautifull)
So as long as you don't have trouble forming them later, its your choice.
