Day 2.5 (Runes) No Pix Yet

I wish i could PM you, but i'll say it openly.

Ursun, i think i have as much respect for you as you for me and alebelly, but i find you're Blog really annoying sometimes. I come here to check up for Pics or fluff and all i get is some text and sometimes some pictures. I would suggest a tread in the forge for you're basing and painting instead.

It's just my opinnion and you may conpletely ignore it, but i felt i should say it.

Also, shame the PM system is down.

Hey Thane!! It's no problem and Im' glad you said something. I was wondering if someone would or not, and now that I know others find it annoying, I shall stop this daily blog business and stop letting my picture openly rant all over this forum! Thanks TW!

You don't necesary need to stop this Blog, making good use of it is what i seek. A think like this works waaaaaay better in the forge. If you want a blog i would suggest doing this:

ONLY post things we like to see, this are Fluff and pictures of you're growing army. Posting the brewery full with what you're doing at that moment isn't very usefull, you're youtube movie for exaple was cool, but heavyly overspam. (trust me i have expiriance with spam)

The best thing to do is this IMHO:

Make 2 Treads in the forge names:
>name here< (ursuns dwarf Blog)
>name here< (ursuns skaven blog)

saying you have put magnets under the bases is nice, but you can better mention it when you finished painting and basing the models.

I think the main reason you get no reply's is:
1) It's an army diaree and 9-10 times the forge is like 200% more checked.
2) You posted things where folks lack interest in. Saying you assembled a skaven horde is nice, but unpainted/based, boring as -S-Hell. Unless you have heavyly used GS.

If you want a daily update, i suggest Facebook or something.

I definitely don't use FB, professional reasons. But, I will take everything you have said into consideration and will most likely do as you have suggested. I will aim for only updating with pics and such. People in my profession get a bit, what's the word, lonely? We tend to 'forum troll' more than others and make more or less unnecessary posts - which is why i'm glad you have said something, it points to reason

So, with that being said - the DAILY update thing will definitely stop. I see no good reason in taking up every single "Recent Blog update" slots on the right column. I will try to update with only pix etc etc...as far as fluff goes - that's a long ways down the road, I have a LOT more research to do to completely understand what a true dwarf is.
